It has good core placements, industrial visits, sports, and campus activities.

Faculty: All teachers are M.Tech holders. Some faculty members are teaching well, and some are a little normal. We can pass exams after listening to class and studying during internals. One week before an exam is enough to pass exams. Taking my side as an example, I studied during internals and semester only, which is required to pass with a 7.5 CGPA. Our course does not make students industry-ready because it gives a basic idea about it. But we have to gain more knowledge and do more projects, gain expe...

A college with very good education, but very few events.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are very knowledgeable and have the best teaching techniques. The course curriculum is relevant. They train us to face every situation possible. Semester exams are not so difficult; they can be easily scored if we listen to the classes properly with attention. We have to make our notes to gain a higher score.

Our college is good in infrastructure and other things but better in quality of teaching.

Faculty: About faculties, they are the newly joined faculties that have little knowledge about the subjects; they should get experience for some more years then they can clearly reach the students. Here we have a passing percentage of more than 7.5 SGPA.

Better results and good placement.

Faculty: We have well-qualified teaching faculty members, and we get a lot of help from them in teaching and other activities. They are taking us on industrial visit also to improve our industry knowledge. In this college, exams and internal assessments are very strict, and the pass percentage is 90% above.

Good infrastructure but not good placements.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified but the teaching method is not of top quality knowledge retention is very low and they teach only for the results not for the knowledge. There are way more less opportunities for any events other than studying. Semester exams are according to vtu you can easily pass by referring to old questions paper.

A College with Good Infrastructure and Average Placement, Ragging Free

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, but teaching is very average, and they only cover the syllabus with no extra classes. Only one week of placement training is provided, and the VTU curriculum is not good. Teachers are somewhat helpless; some are strict about attendance, but most are not.

Review of PES Institute of Technology and Management (PESITM).

Faculty: There are qualified and experienced teachers but we students are not industry-ready as we have only theory and not much practical experience with programming languages. We don't find sem exams as difficult as we can just revise whatever we studied during internals.

My college life with good and bad memories.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready with industrial visits, IEEE workshops, and hackathons. The college is affiliated with VTU. Exams are average and easy. The pass percentage is 60%.

My college days in PESITM.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good as our branch has a disciplined HOD, students can approach faculty when they have doubts and can get clarification. Yes, the course makes students industry-ready but they must Concentrate on their studies and learning programming language. Otherwise, they must join the course after the graduation. It is not difficult to pass the semester exam. At least can get passing marks.

The college campus is good, but the college doesn't provide good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers were good but not experienced. I don't know why they appoint teachers without any experience. Exams were average, and the passing percentage was 45%, but they want 75% attendance for exams. Otherwise, they didn't allow students to write exams. 75% attendance was compulsory .

Good college as per the present industry needs.

Faculty: The PES Institute of Technology and Management is affiliated with VTU Belagavi. All the faculties are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. There is the CDC that makes the students ready for the industry. Semester exams are done as per the university guidelines.

PES Institute of Technology and Management (PESITM) review.

Faculty: Three internals are conducted and done externally will be done almost. We can pass everything easily if we study one day before and branch entry is in the second year. We can change branches if we are interested in other branches by scoring top marks in the first two semesters.

Review of PES Institute of Technology and Management.

Faculty: Courses come under VTU, where VTU offers many subjects but 40% of them are not useful; evaluation depends on fate. In PESITM, faculty members are very supportive; they help students achieve their goals; they are student-friendly; they not only support theoretical knowledge, they also train us for placements.

If you're aiming to join PESITM (Shimoga) through COMEDK, unfortunately there are no fee concessions tied to COMEDK rank. The merit-based fee waivers at PESITM are exclusively for KCET admissions.
