Poornima Group of Colleges Engineering Students Bag Funding for Robotics Edu Startup
May 12, 2023: ‘Roboverse,’ a business created by students from Poornima College of Engineering (PCE), Jaipur, has acquired finance of Rs 3 lakh. The project is the brainchild of Hitesh Parihar and Himanshu Rajput from PCE, in conjunction with Narayan Jangid, an alumnus of MBM, Jodhpur. The startup aims to provide robotics education in schools, enabling students to access robotics instruction despite resource limitations. I-Gate Innovation Lab was interested in the creative idea and decided to support the work of the Roboverse team. Hitesh Parihar explained that they had developed a kit suitable for students from grades 4 to 9, designed to be user-friendly.
This kit, equipped with current tools and sensors, will allow school kids to design sophisticated robots while learning the intricacies of robotics progressively. Earlier, the highest package offered during placement drive 2024 was INR 12 LPA. While the highest package offered during season 2023 was INR 44
