As per resources and information availaible, the initial entrance exam which is accepted by PGIMER Chandigarh for admission is INI CET. There may be a chance that NEET-PG is also conisdered for admission but INI CET is the considered for admission to majority of the courses. PGIMER Chandigarh accepts its own entrance exam for admisssion to M.Sc courses. However, admission to other PG courses such as MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM at PGIMER Chandigarh is done on the basis of score in INI CET followed by counseling. PGIMER Chandigarh conducts its own entrance exam for admission to other UG, PG, and Doctoral courses. The total seat intake for M.Sc at PGIMER Chandigarh is 25 seats.

PGIMER Chandigarh offers seven BSc specialisations in the field of paramedical science. These courses enable students to make a career in the field of paramedics. PGIMER Chandigarh offers MD and MS specialisations for the candidates seeking to get admission. As per the INICET Round 3 seat allotment round for January session, the required rank to get into PGIMER Chandigarh stood between 427 and 3862 for the General AI category, considering the PGIMER Chandigarh INICET cutoff 2024. PGIMER Chandigarh offers a total of 13 courses under its B.Sc program. Each of the courses has a different seat intake as per the demand and seat availability. Thus, a total to 182 students can do B.Sc at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. 93 seats for B.Sc Nursing with five seats reserved for PWD.

PGIMER has not released the 2023 placement details yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out. According to the report, 40 PG (2-year) and 165 PG (3-year) students were placed during PGIMER Chandigarh placements 2022. Further, the median package offered to PG (2-year) and PG (3-year) students during 2022 placements was INR 8 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively.

To get admission to the BSc course at PGIMER Chandigarh, candidates must appear for the entrance exams. Candidates must qualify INICET entrance exam for admission at PGIMER. Admissions to PGI Chandigarh courses are made on applicants’ merit in Class 12 and score in the entrance examination.
