As per resources and information availaible, the initial entrance exam which is accepted by PGIMER Chandigarh for admission is INI CET. There may be a chance that NEET-PG is also conisdered for admission but INI CET is the considered for admission to majority of the courses. Other than this, PGIMER also conducts its own entrance exam for admission to various courses. So basically you have to score a good marks in NEET PG. I repeat NEET PG it isn't NEET (UG) . No, PGIMER, Chandigarh generally does not accept direct admissions. Students have to appear for the accepted exam. The application fee for all the courses is INR 1,000 for the general category and for the SC/ST candidates it is Rs 800 (except for MD/MCh which is Rs 1000 for all the categories). PGIMER application process is completely online. All the applicants who wish to apply to any of the courses offered by PGI Chandigarh can register online and pay the fee.

To get admission in PGIMER, Chandigarh, students have to check the eligibility first. Eligible students apply online. The college admits students on an entrance basis. Selected students have to go through counselling process. Final seats are offered after verification and fee payment.

PGIMER admission process is based on entrance score. To apply for admission, applicants must complete Class 12 with relevant aggregate scores for admission to UG courses. Applicants must also hold a valid score in the INICET examination for MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM. INICET is conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. Admission to MS/MD courses is conducted twice a year and the new session starts in January and July every year. For few courses, PGIMER accepts the admission based on PGIMER entrance test followed by counselling. the application process is completely online.
