I am absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2025.
Placements: According to the placement overview, there is good support from faculty but it's more theoretical based not practical. The top recruiting companies for our course are Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, TCS, etc. The highest package is 6 LPA. There are not high chances that we can get placements from on campus so be prepared for off campus.
Infrastructure: There are average sports, canteen, and library facilities and not something that I can really appreciate which is fine. Labs are not so well managed. Some horrific fire caught in the Chemistry lab and the ceiling fell down.
Faculty: The course curriculum is based on old knowledge. Some teachers are good but few of them do not have the potential to teach. The college exams are average and not so hard. Teachers are helpful and supportive. They conduct exams strictly. Maybe, they lack in making students industry-ready. The course curriculum is okay and not so good.

    Modern College, Ganeshkhind.
Placements: Modern College, Ganeshkhind, boasts an impressive placement record, with nearly 60 students placed per batch. This reflects positively on both student outcomes and the college's reputation. The Placement Cell works efficiently, engaging with 10 to 15 companies. While I appreciate the efforts of the college staff, there is room for improvement in their behavior.
Infrastructure: The B.Sc. in CS course is excellent overall. However, the college hostel is located 8 km away, and there is no bus service, leading to a negative experience for students. Additionally, the boys' hostel is operational, but the girls' hostel has been closed for four years, resulting in inadequate facilities.
Faculty: The course itself, B.Sc. in CS, is commendable, but the college staff lacks proper manners. The faculty at Modern College, Ganeshkhind, is subpar. While some instructors are good, others pose challenges to students' future prospects.
Other: Modern College's campus life is vibrant, despite the overwhelming crowd. The limited space and grounds are acceptable when compared to other campuses. The atmosphere at Modern College, Ganeshkhind, is generally positive.

College is okay but there is no college life.
Placements: Few marketing companies hire students but placements for teaching are great. Not all the students get placements, of course. Don't know about the highest package though. Internships can be difficult to find. Most are the ones we have to pay for. Most get jobs in teaching faculty and lab assistant roles.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are nice and ventilated. Library is quite good. There is a digital library too. I didn't live in any hostel so no self-opinion. But I heard from my friends that the canteen is not good. The cleaning maid sometimes doesn't come for days. There are many different sports and clubs at the university.
Faculty: Teachers are very much experienced and qualified to be teachers. They do help students when you approach them. Exams are easy. The pass percentage is 65 or 68%, not sure. But the timetables come quite late. Course curriculum is also quite relevant.
Other: I actually took course in B.Sc. Biotechnology but there were no options earlier. Please update the system. My college provides various courses like B.Sc. in Biotechnology, M.Sc. in Biotechnology, B.Voc in Food Technology, and B.A. Psychology.

    Great college and campus life.
Placements: Actually every year the placement is carried out in full swing. 2/3 of the students get employment even before the final exams but this year due to covid we couldn't do the campus placement drive. However our senior had a great experience. I think in the 5-6th sem companies start visiting the college, students who perform well, get offers from big companies like TCS, Infosys, Quick heal and many more. The highest package offered was about 10lpa and the average was around 2-5lpa. Professors told us that only a few students have not been offered any packages but the rest were offered good jobs.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of fests like music, art, Maths sports, etc. But due to the pandemic only a few have been done by an online method which included art competition and others but I haven't taken part in any of them. Everything is online as of now so I haven't visited the library but teachers have told us that all the teaching material like reference books and solved test papers have been kept in the library if we ever went to the college. There are sports activities as well those who have opted and wanted to take part but for now, everything is limited. No idea about clubs.
Faculty: I had opted for this course as I wasn't interested in doing engineering but wanted to explore the research and programming sector. There are two divisions for us which consist of 80-100 students. Here concepts are analyzed theoretically and are applied practically and I love the way that the syllabus starts taking shape as a blueprint which gives us a better understanding of all the concepts that are taught. The teaching sector is amazing and they take care of each concept and go in-depth while teaching. They also care about the students if they understood the concept individually. All the faculty members hold Ph.D. except the ones who teach us extra subjects like English Evs, etc. Term exams are mostly of 2:30 hrs and it's not that difficult to pass if you follow the teaching patterns which makes it easy rather than cramming the notes.

It is a good college with good facilities.
Placements: Around 400 students took admission in our college. The highest package offered in our course was 1.2 Lacs, and the lowest salary was 10,000. The top recruiting companies for our course are Idea, Infosys etc. Many students got internships in our college.
Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities in our college, like Wi-Fi, chemistry lab, electronics lab, and computer lab, and many classrooms for different courses. We don't have a hostel for students who come from outside Pune.
Faculty: Semester exams are not difficult if you study well. This course is curriculum relevant. It does make students industry-ready. Semester exams conducted by the university are really difficult. At times, the questions are really tough. The pass percentage in our college is 98%.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in this course. There are many types of events and fests. There are many types of scholarships available for students.

It is one of the good colleges.
Placements: There are no placements provided in our college for good MNCs or industry. If you are looking for a degree with an assured job, this is college is not for you. The college won't provide any placements, but if you are willing to do an internship in college, they will offer you a chance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college is located near to the main road, so there is no need to search a lot. The libraries are good and very near to the university. The staff are good and helpful. The college has a small football and assembly ground. Overall, it's good for basic needs and for people who live nearby.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful. Good options are available for courses. The faculty are very responsive whenever help is required. A large number of highly educated faculty are available, and all classes are regularly conducted by faculty, and it is the same for practicals also.
