Good Infrastructure and Facilities.

Placements: This course is considered to be a part of Computer Science and Applications, and placements are the same for all CS departments. But some companies, who don't have knowledge about vocational studies, won't consider this as a UG degree and won't hire the students who pursued B.Voc.

Infrastructure: All the students have access to college Wi-Fi, with unique usernames and passwords to access educational content. Social media and other sensitive webpages are blocked using a firewall. All the classes have projectors, and students have access to the library as well, where they can borrow 3 books at a time. The college has 2 canteens, a Xerox shop, a browsing center, a health center, a gym, indoor and outdoor stadiums, and more.

Faculty: In this department, there are 6 staff members, all of whom are doctorate holders. The curriculum is updated to the current technology. This course has 40% labs and 60% theory content. The pass percentage is 40%, and students need 75% attendance to attend semester exams.

Great campus life and faculty, but placements need to be improved.

Placements: Placement opportunities at OSG College of Arts and Science are decent but could be improved. Around 30% of students from my course who are studying final year were placed, with the highest package reaching 4.6 LPA, the lowest at 2.6 LPA, and an average package of 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant visit the campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is satisfactory, with well-equipped labs, a library with ample resources, and Wi-Fi availability in some areas. However, classrooms can be better maintained. Hostel facilities are average. The food quality in the mess is quite good but repetitive.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, making the curriculum industry relevant. However, certain subjects need a more practical approach. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of 90%. The teaching methodology is mostly traditional.
