B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2019
4.0
The best colleges for AI, Data Science, Electrical, and CS/IT branches.
Placements: I was passed out in 2018, and almost 85% of students got placed. Wipro, L&T, KPIT, TCS, Infosys, and Atlas Copco were among the top recruiters. Most of them got into the IT industry. However, some got placed in the core electronics and communication industry.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were newly designed with reference from IIT classrooms. There was a lot of exposure through VLAB and nice practical facilities as well. The entire college had Wi-Fi and lift facilities. There was an art circle where the PVG's team appeared every year in Firodiya Karandak and Purushottam Karandak.
Faculty: Teachers were well-experienced. They had both domain and functional knowledge. Some of them also had industry experience. During my time, exams were in line with SPPU University, but now, the college seems to be autonomous. It was not very difficult to clear the exams.

2.8
Review of PVG's COET after 3 years.
Placements: The college has tough competition for placements since few companies hire students so we have to stand above all students. Not all students appear for college placements but according to some information the average package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 16 LPA. Internships are provided by the college for some students whereas others have to apply for internships since it is compulsory according to SPPU.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with good facilities. Libraries are also good for studies but the space in the library is very less. Hostels are only for female students and the hostel rooms are very less so not all students get accommodation there. The college mess is sometimes open and sometimes closed.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified well. They have a good experience in teaching. The college is affiliated with SPPU, so exams are conducted according to SPPU. The college has to maintain the record and submit the marks to SPPU. The pass marks are 40 out of 100.
Other: Since the fee of the college is not that high and it is situated in the city area, it gives an advantage. The college is affiliated with SPPU so I chose it.

PVG is a college you can opt for.
Placements: In my course, almost 95% of students are getting placed with an average CTC of 5-6 LPA. The lowest package is 4.4 LPA and the highest went up to 17 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPIT, Godrej, Whirlpool, Dassault Systems, TCS, and so on. Internship coordination in my college is top-notch. Providing internships incorporates as well as defense institutes like ISRO, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides great library service, with books on every curriculum. Also, Classrooms have smart boards instead of blackboards, and Wi-Fi services are provided. Labs and computers in them are really well maintained, and the lab coordinators are also very helpful. Hostels provide clean rooms, high security with a safe time of 10 PM, and guards are constantly outside the hostel gate. The mess is yet to be developed, I won't lie. The food quality needs to be improved as per students, and I guess they will work on it.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, with most holding a doctorate degree and experience ranging from 10 to 30 years in the teaching industry. The teaching quality is really good, and they cover all the syllabus in the given time duration. They also take revision sessions just before the exam. The pass percentage is improving exam by exam, and it's always above 95%.
Other: I chose this course because PVG is well known for ENTC and mechanical engineering. Also, I have an interest in core communication, so I opted for it.

I am satisfied with this college because of its infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the time, placements are off-campus. While college provides a good education, the placement opportunities are not as strong. The training and placement center works to improve this, but the best placements are usually off-campus. Not all companies and industries visit the college for recruitment, although the college claims they do.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure consists of only two buildings. The hostel is average. I recommend considering a room or a flat instead. If you're looking for an authentic hostel experience, you can still explore that option, but I believe a room or flat would be a better choice. The college has a library available for studying.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They teach all subjects well. While there are a few teachers who may not meet expectations, most are helpful and supportive. The emphasis on practical knowledge is greater than on theoretical concepts, which enhances our learning experience. Overall, the majority of the faculty are effective and dedicated.
Other: The college campus is not very large, so the crowd is relatively small.

PVGCOET is a decent college, not too good and not too bad.
Placements: Placements are horrible as internal politics happen, so many students do not get placed in college. The majority of the IT companies approach and 1 out of 10 companies are core related. The highest package ranges from 7-8 LPA. The average package ranges from 3.5-4 LPA. Internship opportunities are nice.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very small and is also shared with a school. The infrastructure is decent and the classrooms are good. Benches are at the end of their lives. The cafeteria is closed half of the time so students have to go outside the campus to eat. Hostels are of decent size and 3-sharing rooms are available. Hostels are available for first-year students only.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and PhD holders. Some teachers have been given courses they have 0 clue about, which is a negative point. The course curriculum is less relative to modern times and is a little old and irrelevant. The college conducts exams as per the SPPU schedule so 2 exams are there in a semester those are mid-semester and end-semester.
Other: I chose this course because I was allotted this in the MH-CET CAP rounds and also I have an interest in electronics. I also wanted to learn communication. I wish the campus was bigger and the facilities like parking are better. Events and fests are conducted regularly and sports are also encouraged.

Famous for core branches + printing old college with a brilliant record.
Placements: The college is famous for printing and core branches placement. The highest package is 30 L and the average is 3-5 L. The college conducts placement training programs and skill development webinars for students. The placement graph may change after 2-3 years, but the college is doing its best.
Infrastructure: The college has a two-floor library where students can study. There is a gym with all equipment. There is one auditorium where all programs are arranged. When you apply for the hostel, you get light, fan, table, chair, and hot water facilities. Boys have fewer facilities compared to girls in the hostel.
Faculty: This college comes under SPPU University, which is why all semester exams are conducted by the university. Teachers are humble to students. You can ask doubts anywhere on campus. The college focuses on both theoretical and practical knowledge. Every day, the college conducts practical sessions.
Other: You can apply for the Mahadbt scholarship when your academics start. In November and December, sports days (Ransangram) and Samsara are organized by the college. There are also DJ nights and grand dinner nights arranged for students. This course has scope, and this college is famous for these particular branches.

I recommend students to take admission to this college.
Placements: Placements are provided in our college. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Recently, a student got placed with a salary package of 12 LPA. Japanese and other companies hire students of our college such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It has separate floors for every department. Washrooms in the engineering building are not huge, but the ones in FE and MBA buildings are very good. Girls' and boys' hostels are available. Staff members take care of students properly.
Faculty: Some faculty members in our college are supportive, but some are strict. Exams are held as per SPPU guidelines. Teachers are well qualified. The syllabus is completed on time. Remedial lectures or guest lectures are arranged. Some extra audit courses are related to coding or graphic for credit points that are not related to the course.
Other: Our college organises social and cultural activities but should be improved more. Fests and farewell parties are organised by various clubs. Scholarships are provided to students. There is a branch changing option available from FE to SE. Students can go to Japan to study and get placed.

Overall it is a good college with great faculty members and opportunities.
Placements: Around 90% students are placed where the highest package being 25 CTC and the lowest being 5 CTC. The average package is about 9-10 CTC. Top recruiting companies are the EnTC related Japanese companies whose officer are majorly in Kothrud ( Pune ). Other major companies are L&T Infotech, Bosch, Microsoft for service based roles and other service based companies like Infosys, TCS, etc. Around 40-50% students get internship from campus and off campus based on their skills. The companies are majorly Core EnTC related companies in Pune also many students do internships as Web Developer in Startups and small companies. Top roles offered in the course are Embe Systems expert, Business Consultant, Web Developer, etc. The jobs are both in EnTC core as well as in Computer Science field.
Infrastructure: The infra is good. For first year students there is separate building where the classes take place for F. E. Department only. After First Year S. E. , T. E. and B.E. Students classes take place in the main building if the college where there are different depart on different floors of the building. Other facilities like Wi-Fi is not good in First Year build but is better in the main building of the college. The library is very nice with high seating capacity, Wi-Fi facility and has huge collect of different books other books for different competitive exams also like GATE etc. Classrooms are also good is good infrastructure but main building classrooms are not that good because the infrastructure is old. I do not live in the hostel as I am a localities but some of my friends are from hostel and they told that the facilities, mess, medical facilities are good. The college also has a gymnasium which can be used by any college student.
Faculty: The teachers are great relatively better than other Pune University College teachers. The teachers are highly qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. In every semester except 1 or 2 teachers all are great and teaching but those 1 or 2 teachers also take great efforts for the students, well and always help the students. The course curriculum is the SPPU syllabus which is revised around every 3 or 4 years. The college curriculum is similar to other Engineering colleges but you should learn more skills to get industry ready as the curriculum helps you but not completely. The semester exams not that difficult and the questions are mostly similar to the previous year questions and the questions from books like Techknowledge, etc. and teacher's notes. The passing criteria is 40 marks out of 100. Follow the SPPU guidelines to check passing criteria in detail. But I recommend you to keep decent CGPA of around 8+ atleast for better future opportunities.
Other: I took this course because I want to learn about both hardware and software side of a system and EnTC is exactly that. The courses related to new technologies can be added to make the course curriculum better for the students. There are Events held around once every month other than college exams time. The Fest is held once a year including Sports Fest and Cultural Fest of around 2-3 weeks. The connectivity of the college is very good as it is near Swargate from which almost all the major locations in Pune is easily accessible.
