B.E. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.6
Good senior support, small campus, disappointing mess food and decent faculty.
Placements: In the academic year 2p23_24, 17 students from the Compu department were placed. The highest package was 18 LPA from I-Cubed Systems, the average was 6.3 LPA and the lowest was 3.25 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies were TCS, Jio Platform, Tech Mahindra, I-Cubed Systems, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with a vast majority of resources, like a strong Wi-Fi connection, fully equipped labs, well-furnished classrooms and a library with the latest editions of all kinds of books ranging from fundamental sciences to high-level engineering books. The hostel rooms are shared by 3 people each, and one bathroom is shared by two adjacent rooms. The food offered by the mess is decent. In the sports complex, there is a basketball court, a table tennis area, a badminton court, a multipurpose field, and a gymnasium.
Faculty: The teachers are decently qualified and have a good understanding of the topics related to the subject. The curriculum is relevant and it builds a good base for the students to work in the industry. The semester exams are moderately difficult and have a pass rate of about 70%.

The college is good, but it is not huge. It is known for its faculty members and placement cell.
Placements: The computer batch has almost 100% placements. On average, placement packages range between 5 LPA and 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Accenture, etc. Almost 70% get internships, and then it depends on the student who wants to do an internship.
Infrastructure: The food quality is good, and the living standards are good. The hostel is on campus, and the campus is good with no disturbances. The college hostel also has reading rooms where the hostellers can study. The time for gate closing is around 10 p.m. The hostel is overall good.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and cooperative. They keep the students motivated and also let them know the latest updates. They also help students with extracurricular activities. They are so dedicated to their teaching and also pay personal attention to every student.
Other: The campus is small and not that crowded.

The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. TCS, Jio, VMware, Raja software laboratory, LTI, Persistent Systems, and Hexaware are top recruiting companies for our course. Around 60 - 65% of students get internships in companies like Persistent systems, Raja software laboratory, NTT data, etc. The top roles offered are research analyst, data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: In this college, free Wi-Fi is enabled on the campus. Facilities such as digital classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, digital libraries, a reading hall, conference hall, auditorium, sports ground, product innovation laboratory, etc., are available. It has a canteen and hostel facilities. The quality of hostel and mess food is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. Some teachers are Ph.D. holders and some have master's degrees. The teaching quality is good and teachers are helpful. The curriculum includes practicals and project-based learnings, and it helps students to meet industry needs. the different types of webinars and workshops conducted in this college. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in coding and exploring more about technology. Events and festive days are celebrated with great joy. Many committees in college help a lot in student's overall development.

It is a good college in the heart of the city.
Placements: Our college provides about 75-80% placements. The highest salary package offered till now is 22 LPA by Adobe. The average salary package offered ranges between 3.5-5 LPA. About 75% of the students got an internship in top companies like NTT Data, Xoriant, Hexaware, Persistent, etc. Top recruiting companies like Principal Global, Persistent, Jio, TCS and Raja Softwares visit our college for placements. Roles like research analyst, data scientist, etc., are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi service is available on the campus. The college has digital classrooms, well-equipped labs, huge reading halls, a huge library, workshop, computer labs, auditorium, playground, basketball court, product innovation labs, etc. The hostel facility is not good. The college has a canteen. The food served in a mess is not good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable. Some teachers are highly experienced. Some teachers are PhD holders, and some are masters. Their teaching quality is good. Some teachers are friendly. They are always ready to help and guide us. The course curriculum is relevant, and it helps us to meet industry needs. Many workshops and seminars are conducted. Semester exams are a bit difficult, and strictness is followed while exams are conducted. The pass percentage is 40-45%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I had an interest in software-related stuff. Our college is ragging free. The environment in college is very friendly. Seniors are friendly, and they help us. Fests are conducted in college, and they are helpful in developing skills.

I am satisfied because of the good faculty and good placements in 2021.
Placements: The highest salary package offered in our college is 22 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant, Persistent, LTI, Xoriant and Raja Software visit our college for placements. About 70% of students got from our course got an internship in companies like Raja Software, NTT Data and Tudip Technologies. About 90% of the students get placed in the year 2020-21.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our college provides facilities like a digital library, digital classrooms, many huge reading halls, well-equipped labs, workshop, auditorium, playground and a basketball court. Mess food is not good. The hostel facility is poor. The canteen facility is good. The campus is ragging free with friendly seniors.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. Some teachers are PhD holders, and most of them are masters. They are experienced and highly knowledgeable. The course curriculum is pretty relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty difficult, and exams are conducted very strictly. College does not promote any type of cheating. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I always had an interest in learning to code and exploring more about how digital things, apps, etc., work. Events and festivals are the best part of the college. You get to enjoy it a lot during college festival days. There are many committees in college that promote co-curricular activities, which helps us to develop non-technical and technical skills.

Absolutely good college because of faculty and placements.
Placements: Placements of our junior batch have been very nice, and many companies came to the campus for placements. Salary package offered by any company is average in the starting. Students were taken for projects in the training period, and students who cleared all the subjects and have distinction got internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in the college are nice. The classrooms were neat and clean, and the library was silent and pleasant. Wi-Fi facility was available on the campus, and the computer labs were up to date. The canteen was average.
Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful and friendly, and they cleared all our doubts. Some teachers were replaced, so I don't know about them. The teaching methods were the best, and they gave a demo of the programme in class for students to understand properly and clearly. The faculty to student ratio was 1:60.

Though not an amazing college, it was at least good for pursuing computer science.
Placements: Placements provided in the college were good. The number of students got placed with good salary package is pretty less compared to the department strength. But the number of students who got placed in bulk recruiting companies was good. The average salary offered was 3 LPA, the lowest salary offered was around 1.8 LPA, and the highest salary offered was 7 LPA. Approximately, 65% to 75% of the students got placed through college placements. The rest of the students went for masters. There was a placement cell in our college, and it is trying well to place the students, but it is not great compared to the other colleges. Companies like TCS, RS Labs, Reflexis, VMware, Tech Mahindra, L&T visited our college. I don't remember the names of the other companies that visited our college to offer placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was provided in the college. Classrooms were pretty simple, and the library was good. I'm not sure about the medical facilities as I never had time. The ground was very small, and we shared it with a school. Labs were well-structured. The quality of food always depends on the vendors, so it was not consistent. During my tenure, it was okay but not much good. I never stayed in the hostel, so I'm not sure about the hostel condition. Our campus was very small, so there was nothing specific about infrastructure.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college were helpful to some extent. Their teaching quality and the knowledge of some subjects was good, but some of them weren't good enough. Teachers use projector and chalkboard for teaching. First-year students of computer science department didn't get any industry exposure, and it was provided for the mechanical students. Other department students may get industry exposure. The course curriculum was good but not that amazing for our batch. The updated curriculum was better for the previous batch students.
Other: Many events are held throughout the year for different departments. Scholarships are provided for eligible students. They support the students to participate in extracurricular activities, but our college is not good compared to other colleges. The campus is very small.

A good college for computers and E&TC branches.
Placements: For the computer, mechanical and E&TC branches, the placement is good. A good number of reputed companies visit the college every year. Nearly, all the eligible students get recruited. Computer branch has the major companies. The highest salary offered till date is 17.5 Lacs/annum, and 2 Lacs/annum is the least at my best knowledge.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available along with internet-enabled PCs in labs. There are very good labs for computer branch. Plenty of computers are available. The classrooms are average. A medical checkup is done only in FE. Canteen services are average. Sports are average. Arts and activities are really good. Parking area is a bit small.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and solve our queries most often. Their teaching quality for non-theoretical subjects is very good, whereas theory subject teaching can be made better. Projectors, ppts, virtual labs, etc., are used for teaching. The course curriculum is as per SPPU.
Other: Student-based organizations conduct really good quality and helpful events every year. The scholarship is available.
