Satisfying facilities and good faculty.
Placements: At Raha College, around 60 percent of students from the B.A. Education course were placed. The top recruiters included NGOs and private schools. About 40 percent secured internships in educational institutions, mainly in teaching and administrative roles. Some students also went for higher studies like Ph.D.
Infrastructure: Raha College offered well-maintained classrooms, a library with education-related books, and basic Wi-Fi access. Though there were no dedicated labs for Education, resources were sufficient. The hostel provided clean rooms, hygienic food in the mess, basic medical support and facilities for various games, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Faculty: Faculty members of the B.A. Education course at Raha College were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was satisfactory, with a focus on conceptual understanding. The curriculum was relevant and built a strong foundation. The semester exams were moderately easy and the pass percentage remained high around 85–90 percent each year.
Other: I pursued a B.A. in Education at Raha College 2018–2021 batch. I chose this course due to my interest in teaching. The supportive faculty and academic environment were the highlights. More practical exposure would have been helpful. The campus was peaceful, with occasional events, scholarships, and active student participation in extracurricular activities.
