Assam Higher Secondary Board exams are held in two shifts. The first shift exams is held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift exams from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The Assam HS examination will commence with English paper and concluded with Advanced Sanskrit papers.

No, there is no negative marking scheme for the AHSEC HS exams. The board will not deduct marks for incorrect/wrong answers in the final Assam 12th exams.
