RGITBT admissions are both merit and entrance-based. RGITBT is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be a University).T he institute offers UG, PG, diploma and PhD programmes in various fields such as Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Medical Biotechnology and more. At the UG level, the RGITBT has a 3-yr full-time programme. The programme consists of 6 semesters, each year consisting of 2 semesters. BSc is avaialble in Biotechnology and a student needs to score at least 156 credits to pass the exam. Admission to the BSc programme is based on a common entrance test conducted by BVDU, namely CET BBT. Students, who have completed 12th in the Science stream, can apply for the same.
