RIT was the best option for civil engineering aspirants.
Placements: Actually, the placement for the civil engineering course at RIT was pathetic. Because one who has the aim to work for a core construction company which was not possible. Only IT companies take students from various departments mainly, TCS, Byjus, and Cognizant. They got placed as a system engineer, BDA, product specialist, etc. Only 10% of students got placements in the civil engineering department.
Infrastructure: In the case of infrastructure, I would give 100% to RIT because they provided top-class facilities like a lab, Wi-Fi, and a library. The college had both an individual department and a common library. Hostel and hostel food was just awesome to enjoy in RIT campus life. Our college gave good value to sports and cultural programs. There was a lot to enjoy.
Faculty: The college curriculum was just okay and all facilities were well experienced and very much helpful. They kept us motivated and a well professional person at the end of our college life. Syllabus was little bit tough and the time for completion was also less. But professors helped us to overcome these challenges. Our pass percentage was 78%.
Other: Civil engineering is a universal course and subject which have validity until humans exist. You see the world how we make it. The college was in a calm place far from the city and needed to improve the canteen facilities. The main attraction of college was the RIT college tech fest which provided a lot of things for developing your extracurricular activities.

The college itself promotes students to involve in startup programmes.
Placements: More than 20% of students from each year are getting placements. The average salary package is 2.5 Lacs per annum. Many students are getting placements in different companies. More than that, the college itself promote students to involve in startup programmes.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. Sports and games are also promoted. Hostel facilities are of a good standard. Many students from different parts of the country are staying in the hostel. The canteen facilities are also good. It provides tasty and quality food for the students.
Faculty: The faculty rating is excellent. The faculty are highly qualified. Most of them got graduated from the higher institutions of the country. They are very much experienced also. They promote the students in academic as well as to indulge in other activities like arts.

Definitely satisfied with the quality of education though offered less placements in core subjects.
Placements: Almost 100+ students got placed in the academic year 2017 and maintained consistency of the range of people being placed with the previous years. As for civil students, no core companies had visited last year but aspiring students always had an opportunity to attend off-campus interviews civil based companies with the recommendation from senior faculty members of the dept. The highest offered placement package is 8 Lacs and the placement cell team had put every effort to attract many MNCs to our college.
Infrastructure: Civil dept. Like every other in RIT provides a wonderful atmosphere which would definitely fascinate anyone taking a visit. The classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi enabled projectors and free Wi-Fi for students. All the labs are accredited by the NBA and the Civil engineering course at RIT has been accredited to 3 years since 2017 by NBA. Canteen and a full day working cafeteria could be a very good refreshment zone.
Faculty: All the faculty members teaching are Ph.D. holders and their teaching skills match their qualification. Occasional seminars and workshop regarding many subjects were organised in the dept. Members of reputed engineering sections of the country visited and share their experience. Also professors of top engineering colleges visit and update the students the latest upgradation in the field of engineering.
Other: Inter dept. Competitions of both arts and different events always kept the momentum and anticipating the students to develop coordination. But the once in a year Techno-cultural fest of RIT, RITU has always been the well-claimed event of the college where more than 2000 participation apart from the campus but from different colleges across the country had shown attendance.

Other: RIT is a very good college with a nice campus and highly qualified teachers. It has very good labs facilities and has a nice common library. It has hostel facilities for boys and girls. It has placements but it should be improved. Campus is superb with a lot of space and scenery. Permanent faculty members are nice but less in number and there is a need to appoint more staff members.
