Avoid RGIT, life will be better.
Placements: Out of 120 students, hardly 30 to 35 students get placed through campus placement in low salary based companies. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA and the average package remains near 4 LPA. Top companies even I do not know which companies come every year. If a new startup comes I will suggest going off-campus. College never gives internships, we have to find ourselves and apply for them. Top roles offered in my course are CAD experts and product managers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure from outside will look great but from the inside it is literally nothing. Classrooms are never clean, fan gives warm air instead of making the temperature cool. Library is always crowded. Food is good and at a very affordable rate. Sports is just a myth management committees lots under the name of sports.
Faculty: Faculty members don't know what they are teaching. They say they have experience in teaching for 15 years but still students fail the course. Partially makes students industry-ready but without any practical thing, it is nothing. Semester exams are difficult, no doubts are cleared. Checking is not done thoroughly.

The infrastructure is basic and has bad faculty.
Placements: 95% of students get placed. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest is around 4 LPA. Companies like Siemens, Amazon, etc. Around 90% of students are placed in front-end and back-end development roles. However, the companies recruiting aren’t that great. It is a decent college not much infrastructure, and no ground for sports. The canteen is just decent, though hygiene is bad.
Infrastructure: The library has internet access. Canteen food is not that good. Classrooms are in bad, and AC rooms are needed. Washrooms are not clean, and hygiene is bad. Faculty is bad enough, but the events are good. The canteen is decent, and the overall college is also decent. The crowd is not that good, but it is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. The course makes students industry-ready. It is very difficult, with an 80% pass percentage. The course is difficult but it's alright. Faculty is bad enough crowd is bad too. Classrooms are the worst and AC rooms are needed but not there.
Other: Everything is good about this course. AC rooms are available, and events are good enough.

Absolutely No Event College in Mumbai!
Placements: I think students do get placed. There are many companies like TCS, Reliance, L&T, Capgemini, and more. As I am currently new to the college, I don’t have much of an idea about that, but yes, students at RGIT get placements if they have good academics and experience throughout the college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, probably in certain rooms. Classrooms are decent, there is no AC for student classrooms or labs. The library is okay, again no AC. Canteen food is good enough, and there are no special grounds in college for sports and games; they send students to other places for such events.
Faculty: College faculty is definitely good. They have course-relevant knowledge and are always happy to help students, at least the teachers I have come across so far. The curriculum is of Mumbai University, as the college is non-autonomous, and everything is according to the MU. I still feel they don’t teach industry-relevant skills in the first year and waste the time of students on irrelevant subjects.
Other: I wish there were events. As of now, in the last 6 months, there have literally been no events in this college and no club activities. I don’t know why this is so.

Reality is better than reelity.
Placements: Placement is pretty good. Almost 75% of students get placed every year per batch. Capgemini is one of the mass recruiter companies offering various roles. Internship is not provided by college which is the greatest drawback of MCT RGIT Andheri West, Mumbai.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that great. A 6-story glass building with each floor allotted to each branch of engineering. Also, there is an opportunity to pursue master's at this college.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and supportive. Teaching skills are based on both virtual board and basic blackboard methods with practical sessions conducted in particular practical labs of each respective field. Exams conducted here are lenient and easy to crack. Faculty members here are experienced and have great teaching knowledge in all fields.
Other: I got to this college through MH-CET computer engineering.

Overall, this college is above average in all perspective.
Placements: The average package offered in this college ranges from 6-7 LPA, with the highest package reported being 20 LPA. Internships start from the 2nd semester and are usually paid, although the compensation is not very high. Almost every student secures an internship, provided they perform their tasks diligently. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Students are given ample opportunities to test their skills.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent library where students can study and complete assignments. The overall infrastructure is great, but there is no ground for sports. The canteen offers a wide variety of food options at affordable prices. As this college is located in Mumbai, hostels are not available. Students typically live in nearby PG accommodations, with assistance from the college and local agents for finding suitable options.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly skilled, supportive, and well-qualified, with many holding PhDs. They provide excellent teaching and guidance. The courses, along with various programs and workshops, effectively prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are challenging, requiring hard work to score well. The passing percentage is approximately 60-70%.
Other: This course has a promising future, especially with the increasing demand for semiconductors by 2030. It offers flexibility, allowing students to pursue coding or core branches. Scholarships are available, and students can apply for them. The college also organizes several extracurricular activities, including hackathons, gaming events, and more. It is well-connected with two metro stations within a 3 km radius and Andheri Railway Station, which is about 20 minutes away.

Placements: According to 2024 data, the highest package was 19 LPA (off-campus), and the median package (on-campus) was 3.4 LPA. Out of 450 students, 298 secured placements, resulting in a placement percentage of 66.3%. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Teach Mahindra, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The college does not have a hostel facility but helps provide nearby hostels or PGs. The infrastructure is decent, neither excellent nor poor. Classrooms are spacious, and the library is good. There is a six-story glass building with each floor dedicated to a different engineering branch. The college also offers opportunities to pursue a master's degree.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. The course makes students industry-ready. It is very difficult, with an 80% pass percentage. The course is difficult but it's alright. The faculty is bad enough crowd is bad too. Classrooms are the worst and AC rooms are needed but not there.
