I'm mostly satisfied with the college, but some of the faculty is not satisfactory.
Placements: In this course, most probably 40% of students get placement, and that too when they have some specialized skills and job potential for a particular job. The highest package for this course is 21.50 LPA, the lowest is 4.42 LPA, while the average package is 5.24 LPA. Companies from sectors like tech, edtech, finance, marketing, consulting, etc., take part in recruitment. Our college has a WhatsApp community for monthly internship opportunities, which helps students to gain experience from internships. The top roles, such as finance manager, data consultant, accounts manager, etc., were offered in this course, according to my knowledge.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for our department are really good compared to other colleges. The classrooms in the main building may be an issue due to Wi-Fi connection, but the library and labs are good and remain clean and hygienic. Talking about the facilities provided in our canteen, the food is tasty and hygienic. The medical facilities are also available at the time of need. The teachers focus on sports and extracurricular activities too, along with the studies.
Faculty: There are some teachers who can be helpful, but not all. The quality of education and teaching is somewhat good, but not top-notch. The course could be useful if the students learn some relatable skills by themselves for good placement opportunities. The semester exams were moderately difficult last year, but they usually go high during, and the minimum pass percentage is 60%.
Other: The crowd and campus are overall good at this college. The fests and other events are skillfully organized on the campus, but they are not that engaging for the students. The extracurricular activities are good here. Our college has received many certifications and trophies.

Overall, I am neutral about Ramanujan College.
Placements: My course is B.A. (H) applied psychology. There are 92 students in my batch (second semester). I am not sure about my course average package and top recruiters but there is a placement cell. Many students in my course got internships though so I guess there is something.
Infrastructure: There is a psychology lab. The HOD is nice too. Wi-Fi is poor but the classrooms are clean. Library is good too. There is good food offered and the water is clean and chilled too. Activity room and gym are in bad condition though. Activity room is currently under repair.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and decent enough. In my course, the written work is too much. Sometimes the teacher doesn't give full details on how to do/conduct a practical. However, they are lenient enough to increase the deadline. The first-semester exam I gave was very direct and easy.

I am dissatisfied because of the college faculty, infrastructure, and atmosphere.
Placements: I'm still studying, but I heard a lot of times that the placement cell does not provide great opportunities. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Not all companies are top recruiting companies. Around 20% of students got internships. I do not know the exact percentage, and companies are usually different. According to my knowledge, top roles offered are HR sales intern, etc.
Infrastructure: The whole college has one beautiful building only for expensive courses. Our course class takes place in the port cabins. There are cabins made around the ground in which the classes take place. Wi-Fi is not available. The library accommodates only a few students. The canteen does not have a proper seating arrangement. The water purifier is not clean. I didn't like the quality of the food provided in the canteen.
Faculty: The teaching quality is quite good, but still not as good as the teaching quality of the school, but I can understand. Our teachers are quite helpful, very qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not relevant. It does not make students industry-ready as nobody in the interview is going to ask how women's involved in the history of India. Semesters are very difficult. I don't know what that particular subject teacher wants as an answer. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to understand what should be studied to get marks. Whatever we write, somehow it doesn't seem to work.
Other: I did not choose this course. It was allocated to me by the University of Delhi. I am not interested in this course because this is not what I always wanted to study but I want a degree so that I can study further what I wanted to study. I guess people should be good to others or their fellow mates because there are times when people don't know anything and desperately need help but people being arrogant doesn't seem to be helpful. This makes an introverted person more of like not to ask for help. I have been one like that. This is my third year and till now I don't have people around me whom I can call friends. Making friends while living college life is very important.

I'm satisfied because there is good faculty as well as placements.
Placements: 75% of students got placed with a package of the highest 12 LPA and the lowest 5 LPA in consultancy, sales and marketing, technology, edtech, travel, and others in companies like TCS, EY, and KPMG. This is all about the placement and salary.
Infrastructure: There is library and classes have proper hygiene. There are also projectors in each classroom. Wi-Fi is available for staff only. Canteen has good dishes. There are varieties of food available in canteen. Students also like samosa from canteen. This is all about food.
Faculty: Professors are well-versed in their subjects. They have a better personality. Course curriculum is relevant. College semesters are difficult because there is high maintenance of education. Cheating is impossible. So that's the reason it is difficult. Passing marks is 40%.
Other: I have chosen it because I wanted to do research philosophy. I wanted to add practical to this course. Events and fests are conducted.

    Wonderful Ramanujan College.
Placements: Around 50%-60% of students got placed from college. The highest package is 12 LPA. The placement cell of college is very friendly with students. Comany like Wipro came to recruit students. The alumni connection of the college is very strong.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the course is very good but there are no hostel services. Library is very well-equipped. All the information is given by the college through their ERP in which students can have a look at how much attendance they have achieved.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and help students in every situation and also try to solve asap. Faculty members provide reading materials to students. Semester exams are also fine as faculty members always help students to understand the question and make them solve it.
Other: I have a keen interest in this discipline that why I selected it. The crowd and campus is very good there is no hustle or bustle on campus. The fest and the other activities are celebrated in a very good way.

Amazing faculty but the college lack
Placements: Only 30% of students got placed in my course in 2024. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Companies like JustDial and Ferns and Petals are top recruiters. Getting internships through our college is almost impossible. Mostly we have to hunt internships on our own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college work is in progress. One building is there and another is being constructed. So students who don't have their class in the building have it in the port cabins which also have ample space and offer a not-so-bad experience. All labs are well-equipped and also have air conditioning. The library is small but resourceful. The canteen has good and cheap food. There is a medical room but is not useful. All sports facilities are there. The college lacks space.
Faculty: Faculty mambers of my course are very good. They are young and approachable. They understand students well. All of them are qualified and knowledgeable. The course has amazing teachers. Everyone is friendly. The course curriculum is relevant but I think it could be improved. Semester exams have average difficulty. The pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: I was always keen about finance and wanted to know how money was made in the real world. Therefore, to get a better understanding of how economics works practically, I chose this course. The best thing about my course is the faculty. They are young and understand students. They are amazing teachers. We have our annual fest named Josh in February every year. The crowd is mostly friendly except for a few. The campus is small but beautiful.
