CUET Fine Arts Syllabus                                                                            

CUET Fine Arts Syllabus 2026: The National Testing Agency released the CUET Fine Arts Syllabus 2026. The candidates can access it online on the website of NTA at cuet.nta.nic.in. We have also provided the CUET 2026 Fine Arts Syllabus PDF on this page. The exam conducting authority has made changes in the CUET Fine Arts Syllabus 2026, which we have updated on this page. Candidates must be well prepared for the UG-level Fine Arts exam paper, as the competition is very high. For better preparation for the CUET Fine Arts exam, the students need to check the entire CUET Fine Arts Syllabus and cover the topics included in it. The Fine Arts paper was conducted in different slots in CBT mode.

NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 tentatively between May 11 to 31, 2026, in CBT mode. NTA conducts the CUET UG to offer admission to various UG-level courses in all the central/private/deemed/state universities and other participating institutes in India. While filling out the CUET 2026 application form, candidates are required to choose Fine Arts as a domain subject to take the subject test. The students should also note that all the topics included in the CUET Fine Arts Syllabus are taught in class 12. The candidates should also refer to the previous years’ Fine Arts question papers to know the chapter-wise weightage, topics, and types of questions asked in the exam.

CUET 2026 Exam Pattern

To prepare well for the CUET exam 2026, the students should not only cover the CUET Fine Arts Syllabus but also be aware of the CUET exam pattern. It will help them know about the type of questions asked in the exam, the total number of questions asked, the marking scheme, and more. In the first section of the CUET UG exam, the Language Skills of candidates are tested through Reading Comprehension passage questions. In the second section, the questions are asked based on the subject opted for and the third section is GK, Current Affairs, Mathematics, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning. Q:   What is the CUET marking scheme?

NTA prescribes the CUET UG marking scheme. Check below to know the CUET UG marking scheme 2026:

  • Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
  • Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
  • Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
  • If more than one option is found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If all options are found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
  • If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five marks (+5) marks.
Q:   Which subjects have been removed in CUET UG?
A: 

UGC has announced the deletion of 26 subjects from CUET UG 2025 onwards. CUET UG 20 foreign languages and six domain subjects have been removed. Check the list below to know the name of the subjects:

Q:   What are the latest changes in CUET UG exam?

National Testing Agency has not introduced any specific changes for CUET UG 2026. However, in CUET 2025, NTA introduced major changes like

  • Reduction of CUET subjects from 63 to 37
  • GAT scores will be used for dropped subjects
  • Exma to be held CBT mode only
  • Compulsory 50 questions in each subject, no optional questions
  • Maximum five CUET subjects can be chosen 

The above changes are to continued for CUET UG 2026 exam.

Q:   What are the changes in CUET 2026?
A: 

National Testing Agency has informed that there are no significant changes in CUET UG 2026. The pattern and syllabus shall remain same. The CUET UG 2026 exam consists of 37subjects- 13 langauges, 23 domain subjects and General Aptitude Test. As per the recent notification, candidates must make sure to update their Aadhar card and UDID cards. It is expected that CUET exam centre 2026 will be alloted based on candidate's updated address.

Yes, there is negative marking in CUET UG exam. For every wrong answer, the question will attract negative one mark. Candidates must be careful while answering the questions to avoid any negative marking.

No, candidates can raise objections after the CUET result has been declared. NTA calculates the final CUET score based on final answer key. CUET revised answer key is released after evaluating the objections raised by the candidates after the released of provisional answer key.

No, CUET exam is not compulsory to take admission in different programmes at Lucknow Institute of Pharmacy. The college offers admission in the UG and PG courses based on merit in last qualifying exam. They just have to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

If the students are done registering for the CUET UG exam, they should wait for the exam date to release. Then, appear for the entrance exam and register on the DU CSAS portal. Only then, students can apply for their preferred course and college. At the end, pay the fee and seal your admission.
