No, NIT Jamshedpur BTech course admission is through JEE Main only. Candidates seeking admission must have a valid score in the national-level exam. The counselling body releases cutoff mark as well. Students who meet the NIT Jamshedpur BTech cutoff can take part in counselling for seat allotment. There is no other provision for admission in a BTech at NIT Jamshedpur.

BIT Sindri admission to BTech programme is based on JEE Main score. Candidates selected based on JEE Main score have to come for JEECE Counselling. JEECE counselling is held online. For engineering graduates YBN univeristy has SCHOOL OF ENIGINNERING  It is one of the largest schools in the YBN University and offers three years diploma, four years B.Tech and two years M.Tech.
programs in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE and Computer Science Engineering. The three years diploma, four years B.Tech Degree course with an annual intake of 30 students in each streams and two years M.Tech programme in all branches.
