Amazing faculty members in biotechnology department, bad crowd, no campus.
Placements: Most students pursue Master's courses rather than seeking placements. However, 50% of students do get placed. The highest package is 5 LPA, the average is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Biocon and Himedia. Around 70% of students get internships in pathology labs like Metropolis Healthcare in Ghatkopar. Top roles offered are clinical research assistant, assistant professor, and site activation coordinator.
Infrastructure: Facilities include a departmental library, an e-library, fully air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi, and labs with essential equipment like incubators, centrifuge machines, and autoclaves. There is also a bioinformatics lab. Hostel facilities are not available, but paying guest accommodations are located near Ghatkopar station. The canteen food quality is below average. Medical facilities are average, but sports and games are heavily promoted.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, helpful, and mostly Ph.D. holders with excellent teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and can lead to jobs in pathology labs, as it includes extra courses like Medical Lab Technology. The surrounding area is well-connected, with a metro station, malls, and the airport nearby. Scholarships are offered to girls and students from lower castes.

It is a great college, and every student should consider taking admission for any course here.
Placements: There was a batch of 60 students during my time, and all the faculty members were very experienced. The annual placement was held in the seminar hall. Many companies visit for placement. Almost 60% of students got placed in companies like TCS, Aditya Birla, etc. Students were also well-disciplined.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility were not available during my time, but there was emergency Wi-Fi, which we use to get 34 MB per day by signing in through a mobile number. You can use different numbers to get more data. Although, the college infrastructure is good. It is located opposite to station, there is a little bit of noise. Overall, everything else is good.
Faculty: Exams are conducted every time but the good part is, papers are set by RJ autonomous college. All the teachers are highly experienced. Practical labs are very big. In a week, we have 3 days of theory classes and 3 days of practicals.
Other: Many events are conducted in our college, including inter-college and intra-college competitions.

Satisfied with Department Facilities .
Placements: I am currently studying so I don't know how many person will be placed but according to seniors 80-90% of the students get placed. Most of the labs recruit students from biotechnology field as we have also basic knowledge about the microbiology and the top role offered is may be Research analyst or Researcher.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of Biotechnology lab are very much better than any other labs. Students also do Research project related to Biotechnology in the labs with the helps of our teacher. All the required lab materials for students are always available.
Faculty: Teachers of Biotechnology Department are very helpful towards there student. They help them with knowledge and by also helping them to know what are the scope available in the future after doing biotechnology. The College semester exam are not very much difficult.

Overall, the college is good for the students who want to do B.Sc. in Biotechnology.
Placements: Our college does not give placement for B.Sc. in Biotechnology course. The salary packages are not provided by the placement cell. Companies do not visit the college to hire B.Sc. in biotechnology students, but companies hire students from M.Sc in biotechnology. An internship is not provided by the college.
Infrastructure: It has a good laboratory. It has equipment like a centrifugation autoclave machine. Free Wi-Fi is provided by the college. Our college has a good library, which has a lot of books for all the faculty members. A good environment is maintained in the library.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and well qualified. Most of the teachers are PhD holders. Some teachers have qualified CSIR NET examination. The course curriculum is relevant, and it gives us an idea of how biopharmaceutical companies work. It makes us ready for employment. Semester exams are of a moderate level. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in biology and technology, and it gives me the opportunity to study both simultaneously. More practical knowledge should be given in our course so that we will know how the machines work in the actual laboratory. Our college organises many events like saree day, tie day, science day and traditional day. The campus crowd is good. Our college does not provide any scholarships for B.Sc in biotechnology students. Our college also organises online gaming tournaments. It provides sports and games like cricket, table tennis, and chess.

It is the best college for studying, but there is no campus at all.
Placements: As I am still appearing, I don't have details of students who got placed. Most of the students after completing their bachelor's degree pursue higher education. The placement cell of our college has excellent people, and also students are well-placed in companies like HDFC, Wipro, Godrej, etc. Our college offers a PGD in clinical research, which is very sought.
Infrastructure: Our college has an excellent general library as well as the departmental library. About 7-8 computer labs, 2 chemistry labs, biology lab, physics labs, etc., are inside the college premises. The college has various departments for every course. The college is equipped with a gymkhana for sports and other activities.
Faculty: The course curriculum is designed, keeping in mind the growth of students, and it makes us industry-ready. Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. Faculty members of this department are the best.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is for 3 years and gives a good set of skills for students. If the area around the college had been better, then it would be the best college in the Suburban area. There are extracurricular activities like boxing, kickboxing classes, etc.
