I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: There are placements in our college, and up to 50% of students get placed. The college has its own hospital. Graduates are usually placed as staff nurses. Many students get placed at East Point Hospital which is also in Bangalore. Students get placed with a package of 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. Hostel facilities are good except for the food. The food is the worst almost every day. The college has its own hospital so we get practical knowledge often. Faculty members encourage sports, and we have a playground for it. The college provides a separate hostel for both girls and boys. There is a lot of distance between hostel and college but they provide college buses to travel between hostel and college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. But their teaching is average. Teachers always provide short notes to study. Through training, they make students industry-ready. We have semester exams in this college. Exams are tougher sometimes. Teachers are qualified and they help us to clear our doubts.
Other: This course provides good career opportunities, and I like to work in the medical field, so I chose this course. It has a good campus and surroundings. There is at least one event held every month. The campus is usually crowded. Campus life is so enjoyable.

ShikshaGPT says

To score well in your curriculum exams you need to have understanding of the fundamental concepts and strengthen core basics and foundation of nursing. Along with theoretical knowledge, have experience in practical applications too and don't open your books or study material at the last moments. Prepare well in hand and keep giving mock tests for personal improvement

    • Ross and Wilson Anatomy and Physiology in Health and Illness.
    • Clinical Nursing Procedures: The Art of Nursing Practice.
    • Nursing Diagnosis Handbook: A Guide to Planning Care.

Q:   Which Nursing job profile is highly paid?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

The highest lucrative nursing position bearer is the Senior Staff Nurse.
They supervises and directs junior staff nurses and nursing students to ensure patients get the best care possible. These nurses will also be in charge of managing nursing care to such patients.
Senior registered nurses are also called upon to liaise with doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists on behalf of the patients. They oversee a team of registered nurses and care assistants to ensure that they work in accordance with standards set for best practice care by the hospital.
