I am Jaysingh Rana, a student of RJIT College. I completed my B.Tech from this college.
Placements: About 95% students were placed in my course. Highest package up to 35 LPA and average package up to 6 LPA. There are many companies like TCS, Reliance, L&T, and more. An internship with a grade of 90% and at least 60% is mandatory for an internship with an electrical engineering focus on electrical devices.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are well developed, smart classes are available, advanced equipment in labs, and hostel facilities are available with better food. Sport activity is also conducted. RGIT hostel fees are up to 30,000 annually, and medical facilities, such as a doctor, are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in all aspects, they have good skills, and course curriculum is relevant. The semester exam in college is difficult, but easy if preparation is done. This curriculum makes students industry-ready. Teachers are very humble, and they help student.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest and placement also provided. This course improved my skills. In my college, annual functions and monthly events are organised.

My journey in RJIT, and life.
Placements: Our 2025 CSE batch has a great placement season. Around 88% of students got placed with good packages. Microsoft offered the highest package at 32 LPA, while the average came around 9.8 LPA. Big names like Amazon, Infosys, and Deloitte come for recruitment, and nearly 75% of us also bagged internships with top companies. Most of the roles are in software development, data analytics, and cloud engineering. The college placement cell is supportive throughout the process. Overall, a fantastic experience for our batch.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are smart classrooms with projectors, audio-visual aids, and comfortable seating. Some even have interactive boards for better teaching. Library: The central library has thousands of books, e-resources like IEEE, Springer, and NPTEL lectures. There's a digital library section for online journals and research papers. Rooms are spacious with proper ventilation, 24/7 electricity, and hot water. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel too. The hostel is cleaned regularly, and wardens ensure discipline and safety.
Faculty: Our CSE faculty is super supportive and highly knowledgeable. They not only taught the core concepts well but also helped us with projects and internships. The curriculum covered everything from AI to cloud computing, making us industry-ready by the final year. Semester exams aren't too tough if you attended classes regularly. With a pass percentage of nearly 95%, students had no problem progressing every year. Overall, a well-structured course that balances academics with practical learning.
Other: I've always been passionate about technology and problem-solving, and CSE seemed like the perfect blend of logic, creativity, and career opportunities. With the growing IT sector and innovation in AI, data science, and cloud computing, this course opened doors to both learning and prospects.

I would give it 3 points out of 10.
Placements: About the placements usually, students get 3 LPA-4 LPA packages. 2-3 students of this college may get more than 8 LPA but it's a rare case to get that much amount from this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good if you choose mechanical or automobile engineering because of BSF campus provides many facilities for it so you have a practical knowledge also the clubs of those branches are very oriented towards their work. But for IT and CSE there is not any kind research faculty but college is working on those parts.
Other: AU and mechanical branches are good as compared to IT and CSE, events and fest are in this college is not good and extracurricular activities means college have some clubs of photography and videography. There is not anything like a big college fest in this college. We have one GDG Google fest but it wasn't that good, but they are working on it.

A well-known college, RJIT, under the BSF.
Placements: This is very sad to say, but the placement rate from my college is low. There are multiple reasons, like the minimum number of company visits our company has, an old sub model, which requires less technical skill, and 75% attendance is mandatory.
Infrastructure: Basically, the infrastructure of my college is small, but in addition, my college is of BSF, so we get their infrastructure, and we can see that there are 2 hostels for boys and 1 for girls, all hostelers live in unity. This is a ragging-free campus and has high discipline.
Faculty: My college has very good teachers, but some are the worst, like all colleges, so if you connect with them, you can have a good mentor. All teachers are well-qualified, so they have proper knowledge. They teach in an interactive way, and multiple labs happen in our college. Teachers are different.
Other: My college has very few extracurricular activities, events, and the campus crowd is not very large.

Decent to average college.
Placements: On average, the placements are for 60 to 65% of students, with the highest CTC this year being 5.5 LPA. The 5.5 LPA CTC is from Denso International India, about which they posted on their website as well as on their Instagram. He got the position of graduate engineer trainee in the company, and he was a student of automobile engineering, which has a lot of priority in this college. The majority of companies come for Automobile and Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science has been increasing gradually over the period of time.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the hostel is decent to moderate. For 1st-year boys, rooms have 4 students together. They give a big room with a balcony and, of course, separate beds, table, chair, etc., i.e., basic amenities. For 1st-year girls, rooms have 2 students together. The library is the best part of the campus. You can study there, it is open till 11 PM, so you can utilise your time in learning away from all disturbances.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful and kind, they teach very well, making sure everyone is able to understand. The course is the same as in most engineering colleges in India. To be able to be industry-ready, you have to put some extra efforts from your side for your betterment and placements
Other: I chose this course because I is interested in computers.

Average college with good faculty members and not-so-good placements.
Placements: It was good for the automobile engineering, as it's always been a good engineering college for that branch in central India, as it's part of the BSF Academy and India's first BSF college. It's connected to the CENWESTO ( it's the automobile training and workshop for BSF cadets ). You will listen to all this information, but now this college doesn't stand out like that ,and it has now increased the student intake, especially in the CSE branch. But their CSE branch placement is not that good maximum number of students placed were from the automobile branch.
Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure, no proper arrangement of accommodation for students, as there are only two hostels, so if you get a hostel in the first year, 2nd year, you will have to adjust to the old hostel of seniors with small rooms with 3-4 people in a room. Mess food is sometimes decent, but most of the time it's not. They serve chicken two times a week. Sports are good. If you don't get a hostel, you will have to live outside in the village of Tekanpur, where there is no electricity sometimes for several days.
Faculty: The faculty are all good and supportive. But again, the curriculum, as it's affiliated with RGPV university it lacks a modern curriculum as you will get in its or in other good private institutes. The curriculum is old, and the exam pattern is completely subjective, as you will have to fill in maximum pages in the answer sheet for marks. But teachers are all well qualified except few junior teachers. My hod ( ECE), Chetan Pathak, is a nice guy.
Other: I chose the course as it was good to withstand, as I was focusing on GATE. They could improve their infrastructure, food quality, labs, and equipment. It could change campus life a bit to make it more engaging. To do fests, as they are rare. They don't make any fests more of it feels more like a school than most of the college. But the environment is peaceful and ragging-free,but not that much worth it. Now they are developing with few programs with IITs.
