A college for completing M.Sc. in biotechnology with a minimum budget.

Placements: About 30 percent of students from our previous batch have been placed in 2023. Top recruiting companies include Avantor, Ziffo, BioCon, Appolo Pharmacy, Cipla, etc. The top roles offered to them include research analyst, quality controller, etc. The highest salary package was INR 25000, the average package was INR 15000, and the lowest package was INR 12000. Internships were mandatory in the third semester; hence, all of the students received internships from various companies and labs.

Infrastructure: College classrooms are wide, vast, and well ventilated. Wi-Fi facilities are limited to computer laboratories. A big central library is available, with a huge collection of thousands of books relevant to our discipline. The college hostel was average. Two types of rooms—air-conditioned and non-AC rooms—were available. Room rent is a little bit high. Food is just average. I didn't feel the mess was hygienic. The food was acceptable in taste. No matter what variety of food items were available, in respect to the college mess, our college canteen seems to be hygienic, and it provides a variety of foods at cheap rates. The college is not providing any kind of medical facility to the students. Various sports and games are encouraged here, which include cricket, football, badminton, etc.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with their degrees; however, their teaching quality and support are not up to par. They didn't take classes properly or provide the needed support to the students. Their course curriculum and syllabus are relevant, and they can empower the students and make them ready for the job. Exams are easy, and it is easy to get good marks.

Other: I chose this course as a continuation of the UG program I have completed. I strongly suggest the college replace the teachers and bring knowledgeable faculty members for the support of the students. Various events, cultural programs, and department programs are conducted at the college each year. Which mainly includes Onam, Ramazan, Pongal, Christmas, etc. The College Trust is providing scholarships for musically talented students. Apart from that, students are eligible to apply for every scholarship scheme offered by the government according to their eligibility.

One of the best college in Coimbatore.

Placements: Our college does provide placements in various companies. Major companies includes bio con, bio pharma, cipla etc. Atleast 50 percentage of students each year placed in companies as freshers. Average salary is 15000. Mainly students are placed in quality analyst and drug controller roles .

Infrastructure: As a laboratory oriented course we have high quality facilities and instruments. Lab is vast. Most of the important instruments are offered by dbt star scheme. Wi-Fi facility is limited to computer labs. A central library is available which offers acesss to a lot of books and articles. Almost all important books for our discipline is availed there. Medical facilities are not available inside the campus. Food in canteen is cheap and best. Taste and quality is acceptable. Various sports and activities are encouraged here.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. They all have minimum 5 years of experience. They are useful for both practical as well as theory classes. The curriculum and syllabus is relevant to this era and it seems to have the potential to make the students ready for the industry. Exams are conducted in each semesters. Minimum pass percentage is 50.

Other: I completed B.Sc. in biotechnology. So decided to continue with the same course. Various events are conducted in our college each year. Which mainly includes onam, pongal, christmas, College day. Campus is moderate crowded. Station and taxi this are available near to college. Various scholarship are available for the eligible students offered by government as well as college trust itself .
