My Experience at SRKR College.

Placements: As our batch has not yet graduated, there haven't been any placements at the moment. However, for the CSE branch, the placements are anticipated to be excellent. The highest package this year was 28 LPA at Samsung, and the average package for our course is around 4 to 4.5 LPA. The top roles offered include SDE roles, frontend developers, and UI/UX designers. Our course has a direct association with Purplane, providing internships and teaching UI/UX design.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the CSD department is outstanding, featuring digital classes, central AC systems, free 5G Wi-Fi, and an excellent faculty. Computer usage is allowed until 8 p.m., and the department encourages a startup culture. Students are motivated to organize festivals to enhance their leadership qualities. The hostel is average, and the food is not satisfactory, leading some students to opt for accommodation outside. The college provides facilities for various sports, encouraging student participation.

Faculty: The faculty is extremely helpful, and students can approach them with doubts anytime. Most teachers are highly qualified, with almost 20 years of experience. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, especially in the first year due to the R-23 regulation. However, extra classes are conducted in our branch to impart technical and communication skills, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are not tough, with a college pass percentage above 90%.

Other: I chose the CSD branch because I appreciate the teaching techniques employed in this field. The focus is on developing technical skills rather than academic exams. The branch aims to produce students capable of starting startups, fostering a culture of the software industry within the B.Tech.. program. Our seniors have initiated startups such as Bhimavaram Online, similar to Zomato, and CampusOnline. The college hosts more tech fests than cultural events, along with hackathons and clubs like Cineclub and the the Software Development Club.

Almost all the teachers are graduates and fests are conducted..

Placements: Almost all the students are placed in various companies. There are many companies which offer the packages above 6LPA in our college, so average salary is 6LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant and Capgemini. You are eligible to all software roles in various companies.

Infrastructure: For our college, there are 3 boy's hostels and one girl's hostel and hostels are fully luxurious and available with all facilities like Wi-Fi, food with good diet and also 24 hours power supply both mess and canteen are good but food in canteen is not that much good as private canteens outside the college.

Faculty: Almost all the teachers are graduates and some of the lectures are doctorates in various IIT and Tier1 colleges. Course curriculum is good and helps to students to make industry ready. And also, we need to learn many other subjects by self-study to get a good job.

Other: All events and fests are conducted as per students wish and with faculty guidelines.
