Santhiram Engineering College (SREC Kurnool) has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility B.Pharma Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit. M.Pharma Candidate must have passsed B.Pharma. and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. B.E. / B.Tech Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to, from a recognised Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023). There is no upper age limit. MBA/PGDM Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission. M.E./M.Tech Candidate must have passsed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Placements: We have great placement opportunities. In the last few years from our college, each year atleast 60 students are passing out with college placement. Major companies like Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, etc., are coming to give jobs in their company. We also have startups in our college, and you can also get a job in that.

Infrastructure: We have a great infrastructure, and a new block is being prepared for the 1st year students who are joining this year. We have AC computer labs. There are different labs for different branches like CSE and AIML. In hostel, there will be different food items. All are prepared with quality and quantity.

Faculty: We have the best teachers in our college. They will support us in any field like personal help or academic help. We get faculty support when we have any idea for startups, and they will boost us to national-level competitions. Semester examinations are strict according to invigilation but according to paper, it is not so tough.

Other: We have fests and events like Sigma and Expo. In those fests, we can keep stalls and earn money. There are some clubs like English club, coding club, photography club, etc. In clubs, some events and fun activities are conducted.

Placements: The placements in our college are kind of good but not that bad, and getting a job is really dependent on the student's skills. As long as the students have good skills then it won't be hard to get a job through placements. College campus recruitment training will be conducted from the first year itself, and train students to excel in English speaking skills so they won't have a problem in job interviews.

Infrastructure: Every room in our college has sense boards with ethernet connectivity with faculty members with huge experience in them. They utilize them in a good manner, and it helps students a lot when faculty members use the internet connection for a good purpose so that students can have new experiences regarding academics.

Faculty: Teachers are really good at teaching and clearing the doubts of students. The semester exams are conducted very strictly in the hope that students will get good marks depending on their study skills. They try to improve them which they lack. The faculty members are highly trained professionals who are always active in helping students.

The college is good in studies and behavior.

Placements: The percentage of students placed from our courses is an average of 80%. The highest package of my course is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The percentage of internships from my course is 35%, and it's not from companies that offer virtual internships. A software development role is offered.

Infrastructure: In my college, my course contains more number of students, so we have our own requirements for the course. The classrooms, lab, and library are good. The main thing is that the hostel is not worth the hostel fee. The food is not good at all, the morning tiffin is not good, and the hostel rooms are also not well-maintained or cleaned.

Faculty: The teachers who have been coming to teach my courses are good, and they are all experienced professors. I don't know exactly what is required to become a perfect engineer. The semester exams are not that difficult, it is easy to complete.

Other: I was interested in this course, so I chose it to learn about new things that I don't know.

It has nice infrastructure and facilities. I am a little dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: 75% of our course students passed out this semester. The average package is less than 3 LPA. Top recruiting company for my course is TCS. I think the percentage of students who got internships is very low. The top role offered in my course is developer.

Infrastructure: All time Wi-Fi is available. Labs are clean and have good processing computers. We have a library too. The hostel is very good and the food is good. The maintenance of the mess is very clean. Ambulance is available 24x7. We have a shuttle court, volleyball court, kabaddi court, etc. Our college conducts tournaments.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their teaching is well. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The toughness of semester exams is moderate. The pass percentage of the students is above 95%.

Other: I chose this course because CSE has the future scope and job security. I use hackerrank and leetcode to improve myself. Events and fests happen regularly.
