Great college for studying at low cost.

Placements: Talking about placements, this time around 40% of the students got placed in different companies and the highest package which one got was around 3.5 LPA which is approximately 29,000 per month many companies like Hitachi, IBM, etc. placed many students but the demand for civil engineering in the market is little bit low but for computer Science or Information technology there are huge placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: Thought the college campus is not so huge but the facilities provided by the college is amazing. There are well maintained computer labs with fast Internet access. Classrooms have biometric fingerprint scanner for attendance purposes. The best part of college is library which has all access to different variety of books and also has pc with high-speed internet so that one can take knowledge with Internet. Hostel's are also well maintained and girls and boys have separate hostel's with free Wi-Fi zones where as mess provides different varieties of good quality of food. Sports events are not so frequent but then also college manages to organise different sports events.

Faculty: The best part of the college is teachers who are so supporting and motivates a lot for achieving our goals. The faculty's are also highly qualified which makes students for developing better learning skills. The college is approved by Uttarakhand government board "UTU" for B.Tech therefore the syllabus is provided by the board itself but besides completion of syllabus college also provides free software classes for better job opportunities. The passing aggregate required is 33% of the total marks. The semester exams are little bit hard as the examination paper is prepared by the board but students can easily clear the exams by studying and taking help of teachers.

Other: I chose this course because B.Tech in civil engineering provides better job opportunities. The syllabus can be improved more for more better learning of students and more practical work should be done so that students can learn things easily. Shivalik College of Engineering is a good college for those who want to pursue there further studies in low cost. The infrastructure of college is not so huge but the facilities provided are just amazing and the teachers are also fabulous, college also provides many placements but sometimes the placements percentage are not so good but overall the college is worth to take admission.

I am dissatisfied because few companies visit for our course, but the infrastructure is good.

Placements: Only 20 to 30% of the students got placed in our course. Companies offered the lowest salary of Rs. 20,000 per month and the highest salary of Rs. 60,000 per month and the average salary of Rs. 40,000 per month. The top roles offered in our course are site engineer, project manager, design engineer, etc. The highest salary package of 8 LPA and the lowest salary package of 3 LPA and the average salary package of 5 LPA are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good like there is high-speed Wi-Fi facility for all students. Labs are good, but some instruments don't work properly. There are comfortable classrooms and a peaceful library and has all the books for our course. In the hostel, the infrastructure is very good, and there are free Wi-Fi facility and comfortable bedrooms. The food quality is not much good in the mess but is good in the canteen. Free medical facilities, sports and games facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, but their teaching technique is not much good, and teaching quality is poor. However, some of them are very good and use wonderful teaching technique and also very good at teaching. The course is curriculum relevant, and it makes the students ready for the industry.

Other: I chose this course because I am good at mathematics and physics, and I have the interest to build something new and also like a civil engineer. The best things in our course are it provides knowledge about earth surface and environment. I wish software related to civil engineering are improved in our course to make it better.

SCE was good but not the best.

Placements: Placements here were quite good, and the placements will be more if the college focuses on its civil branch like other branches. Only 4 to 5 students got placed from our branch. Only a few companies visited our college to recruit the students. A placement cell was available in our college, and it is helpful only for the CSE branch. They try to convince us to sit in the placement drives conducted by the companies related to the CSE department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was nice. The campus was lush-green. But the college lacks an auditorium which is under construction from 4 years. The college has one separate building for civil and mechanical branches. The college was offering many courses now, so they were providing a single building for one or more branches. Sports facilities like football ground and basketball court were available here.

Faculty: Faculty members here were not the best, but they are good. The course curriculum was also good. The only demerit is many practical instruments were in bad condition. All the faculty members have completed M.Tech, but they don't have a good experience. So the faculty members can't interact with students. They only focus on classroom studies, but not on practical studies.

Other: The atmosphere at the college was calm and serene. Fests were conducted on a low budget. The college doesn't provide any scholarships.

Absolutely satisfied of teaching faculty

Placements: Average students having percentage above 65%are placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course from my college is 5lpa.top recruting companies are tcs, some local companies. Stude which got offered in companies got a role of graduate engineer trainee

Infrastructure: In my college or course all things neended for my course like labs, surveying lab, material lab all are present. The infrastructure of my college is good environment which gives good morning vibes. In whole college wifi facility is available.library, canteen are there.

Faculty: in my college all teachers are highly qualified having master degree in their respected subjects. The difficulty level of college exam was little hard as it is needed much hardwork and dedication. The percentage of student got passed in examination is 90percent

Our college is good to study. Mathematics teachers are good.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 70,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Top roles offered to the students are project manager, site engineer, maintenance engineer, design engineer, etc. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are awesome with high-speed Wi-Fi, well-designed furniture, highly suitable labs, a peaceful library, very good classrooms, etc. Facilities in the hostel are in good condition with good quality. The quality of the food is not that good in the mess, but the quality of food in the canteen is very good. Medical facilities are not available at this college.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and well-knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant, and students are industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen the civil engineering course. The best thing about this course is, the work is beautiful, and I am also happy with this course. I wish things to be good and improve the projector classes. Our college conducts festivals, events and fests, but scholarships are not available in this college.

Obviously, there are good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 30% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 70,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month. Site engineer, project manager, design manager, structural engineer, etc., are the top roles offered in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. About 80% of the students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available here like neat and clean classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi and a genius teacher team. Our college has an awesome garden, a gym, clubs and two huge seminar halls. Every classroom is air-conditioned.

Faculty: All the teachers here are helpful to each other, and they are experienced. They all teach well and are kind. They treat every student in the same way, and students prepare for the GATE exam.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like civil engineering. I suggest our college to provide highly educated teachers and current software. Our college is affiliated with UTU, and every year, our college celebrates a fest.
