Placements: Placement percentage of BTCSE is 70 to 80%. Having average salary package of 5.5 LPA and highest salary package of 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies for course are Amazon, Juspay, Paloalto, and Microsoft. Almost 90 to 95% students also got internships in various companies like Zomato, Adobe, Blinkit, etc.
Infrastructure: DIT University in Dehradun offers a high-quality infrastructure and facilities, including well-maintained Wi-Fi-enabled spaces, libraries, labs, a hostel, a rooftop, and a sports ground. Hostel has A1 facilities, including a mess and common areas. College has both girls' and boys' hostel. College also has A1 quality facilities available to solve each and every doubt of students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Their teaching skills are top-notch. BTCSE is considered a tough course but also gives good ROI. There are 2 exams per year. And it is a bit tough with a passing percentage of 97%. This course is very effective and also makes the students industry-ready.
Other: College crowd is very good and helpful. College also conducts various events and an annual fest of 3 days on college campus. College also provides a scholarship on the basis of class 12th marks and JEE percentile.

Placements: Approximately 62.7% of students are placed in 2024. The highest package is 44 LPA, the average package is 6.7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, and many more. A 2-month compulsory internship for all B.Tech students. Top roles like data analyst, frontend developer, backend developer, cybersecurity analyst, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: There are over 350 ICT-enabled classrooms and more than 80 state-of-the-art laboratories. The VEDA library spans 2500 square feet and boasts over 1400 computers. It also features a 500-seat air-conditioned room. The hostel can accommodate 1200 boys and 1000 girls. The campus features multiple cafeterias.
Faculty: DIT University in Dehradun offers a qualified faculty who look after every student. Quality training is provided by faculty. Go for better not for good.
Placements: If I'll talk about the recent placements, then I'llsay that the placements are quite decent as many students get placed. Some of them got 10 LPA so it is good. More than 300 students got the placement this year so it is quite nice.
Infrastructure: Classes are good but the computers in the labs are old and very slow. Even some of them are old model so it is quite tough to use. Hostels are good. There is no ground for sports only basketball court is available and that is also for hostel students only.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are not so experienced. Some of them are experienced so I can say that also come under average. Exams are very tough checking. The CGPA is also declining every semester as the toughness of the paper is increasing.
Other: I would say that you should try other colleges if not then you can come.

Not satisfied with the college. It was good earlier when there were senior teachers.
Placements: The placement percentage is not so good. It is almost 45%. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Cred gave the highest salary package. Only 20% of students got internships. I am not aware of top roles, but most offered roles are either sales or web developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite poor. The Wi-Fi speed is below average. In labs, there are not enough systems. They are old. Almost every time, a few are not working. The library is good. The library management is bad and short-tempered. Hostels are very bad. Canteens are always close. The food in the mess is very poor.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. They have no work ethics. They have a lot of knowledge but don't know how to convey it. It is resulting bad teaching. The curriculum is bad. There is no relation between industry and the course. The exam pattern changes every few semesters. Students fail exams.

DIT University - In a nutshell.
Placements: In our college, around 80% of students got jobs last year at on and off-campus companies. As far as I asked my seniors about it, the highest salary package offered is 58 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, Yamaha Motors, Blinkit, Tekion, Palo Alto, Zomato, Adobe, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. There are Wi-Fi routers in almost every room of the hostel. The mess is quite large. There are grounds for sports like basketball, table tennis, football, cricket net, etc. There are indoor games like chess, table tennis, etc. Talking about labs, there are plenty of workshops for manufacturing. We have a graphic lab, auditoriums, and chemistry labs. They have all necessary elements.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are so far the best in Dehradun. They are extremely cooperative. They help in studies and even when providing marks, they try to give students maximum marks in internals as well as in written examinations. They teach in such a manner that is easy to understand and provide us with notes which are very helpful in the exam season.
Other: I personally chose this course as I was fond of computers, software, etc. I was always curious about how things work on just a code. The best thing about my course is the curriculum. I wish the library could be better and should contain more varieties of books. There are plenty of events in our college including the famous Youthopia which happens every year for 3 days. It is followed by several small events.

Faculty members are good and environment is lovely.
Placements: Placement is good, and companies are coming such as Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 54 lakhs, and the lowest is 12 lakhs. Sixty percent got internships in the companies. The college should improve the facilities provided to the students that help them to achieve their goals.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available in the hostel. Wi-Fi and labs are quite good. The classroom is also good, but the library is small. In the mess, the food is quite decent. There are restaurants available on the college campus. Medical facilities are also available. Sports facilities are not much.
Faculty: IITian faculty are very good. They are available anytime for help. They support us with any query. Semester exams are medium, but checking copies is not lenient. Yes, students are ready for industry because there are many clubs available that help students gain practical knowledge.

Dissatisfied with college placement and mess. Satisfied because of the faculty and library.
Placements: Around 50 students got placed out of 400 this year in DIT University. The highest package was over 1 crore per annum on off-campus, The average salary package ranged from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. And the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Decathlon, Infosys, Yamaha, and Byju's. About 60% of students secured internships. Top roles offered were in CSE and IT.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, and library is very good, and their facilities are amazing. In sports, football cannot be played on campus as no football ground is available. Badminton, table tennis, cricket, basketball, and volleyball can be played. Food quality is average. Medical facilities are good. A sports event called Sphurti is conducted once every year on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also very good. This course is curriculum-relevant. It makes students industry-ready, but not fully. In the second year, it is very hard to pass semester exams. I don't know the pass percentage exactly, but it's approximately 55%.
Other: Events are very few in the B.Tech course. Only one fest happens each year, and it lasts for three days. The campus crowd is not so good. Connectivity with the main city is a bit far. There are different clubs in which we can take part.

Placements: The average placement is 4.5 lakhs, and 60% of students in B.Tech. CSE are placed from this college. The placement cell of DIT helps students to get eligible for placements and every student is given equal opportunity according to their required CGPA and their requirements or desired companies .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Every field, such as architecture, pharma, mechanical, and civil, has separate sections on campus and there is no collision. Every field is divided into certain sections according to their course requirements and facilities required.
Faculty: The faculty of the university are well qualified and have good experience and background. About the examinations, the university conducts 4 examinations per semester, of which 2 are internal examinations and 2 are midterm and endterm examinations. And there are 5th grade labs for the subjects having practical implementation.
Other: The pass out batch is scaling in their specific company or the startups they have started. I chose this course because I want to become a data engineer or data analyst. The university organizes a technocultural fest called Youthopia every year in which their are several events such as DJ nights, Star nights, Autoshows and many more. The college has more than 25 clubs in which students can indulge according to their specific interests.

For B.Tech CSE, having computer subject is not mandatory. But yes you must have Physics, Chemistry & Maths as necessary subjects with 60% aggregate in PCME & in overall 12th & 10th.
