A review of Shivalik from a student of it.

Placements: In my course, around 70%-80% of students got placed, with the highest package around 20 LPA-25 LPA, the lowest around 3 LPA-4 LPA, and the average around 6 LPA-8 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Amazon, and Microsoft, offering roles like Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Developer. About 60%-70% of students also secured internships in reputed companies.

Infrastructure: The college provides a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, and a central library with good resources for students. The hostel has decent facilities with clean rooms and 24/7 water and electricity, while the mess and canteen food is average but hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good with practical learning support. The curriculum is updated as per industry needs, with subjects and labs that help in skill development. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and with regular study.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and good career opportunities. The best things are the practical exposure, supportive faculty, and placement opportunities. However, more industry tie-ups and advanced labs would make it better.

The college provides good placements for many years.

Placements: Although around 80-90% of students get placed every year in this course. The college brings around 20-25 companies per year for students, so that every student gets a placement from the college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. Internships are offered to every student by the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Wi-Fi, digital boards, and high-quality education facilities are provided to students. Labs are installed with the latest generation computers. The quality of hostel food is good and manageable. Sports facilities are provided to students.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified. They help students and teach them for every test so they can easily understand the topic and score well on semester papers. Semester exams are not so difficult. Students can pass exams by studying just one week before the exams.

Other: Everything is good, so I don't think things can be better about this course. The fest is held every year, and events are held almost every month.

Absolutely very well satisfied with this college.

Placements: 70-75% of students get placements every year from this course. As college tries to give placements to every student but it's upon the skills and abilities of the student that he or she can clear the ability test of the company for placement. Google, Swiggy, Amazon, BP, etc., are the recruiting companies for this course.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of hostel is good. Hygiene is maintained everywhere, neat and clean rooms, and bathrooms are provided to students. Mess food is very good and it can be rated as 8.5/10. Sports facilities are provided by the college for students. Medical facilities are provided 24X7 for students. Library is very well stocked and Wi-Fi is provided everywhere.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and have great knowledge about the course. The subject they are teaching has done specialisation in that course, so they know much better what to teach students or what things can improve a student's mindset.

Other: Actually, I chose this B.Tech course at this college because this college helps students with their startup ideas. The college supports students with their projects and provides them budget to make their projects.

Good placement results from recent years.

Placements: As per the college, 70% of students get placements from this college and other students ability can't meet company recruitments or some try to get off-campus placements. Internships are provided to the college but they are paid students have to pay for but the internship certificate from IIT Roorkee.

Infrastructure: The quality of hostel rooms is good. Beds, almirahs, tables, and chairs are provided to students in the hostel. Mess and canteen food are good and good for students. Ocassion food is quite good because on that day they make special food. Wi-Fi facilities are provided all over the college and campus.

Faculty: Semester exams are difficult because paper comes from Veer Madho University, their standard of paper is high and difficult. But students can score good marks by studying little topics all over the year. Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They help to study well for exams and help students by providing them with PYQs and questions for paper practice.

Other: Scholarships are provided to students but students have to talk with their consultant administration. Campus crowd is not so much students trying to get busy with their own work that's why college campus crowd is manageable.

Other: As per my point of view, I want to learn new things and to explore new things through this course that's the main reason for choosing this course. I think college can improve and add more classes in coding.
