SBSC is one of the best colleges of the South campus, University of Delhi, especially for commerce.
Placements: Around 50 percent of students get placement offers in my course. 6 LPA is the highest, and 3 LPA is the lowest package offered. Zomato recruit in our college. Almost all students who are willing to do so get internships. The top role offered in my course is HR in Zomato for 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and it's a little bit congested as two colleges operate on the campus morning and evening. The library is great, it has 3 floors and plenty of books on multiple subject matters. There is no hostel available in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
Faculty: Faculty is top-notch. Some of them are really fantastic. Teachers are really helpful and highly qualified. The course curriculum is more relevant to the students who wish to pursue a civil services career. The difficulty of the B.A. programme paper is easy to moderate, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: The best thing about the B.A. programme is that you don't get stuck studying only one subject in depth if you are the one who wants to explore the surface of different disciplines without being involved too much in one. The B.A. programme is best for you compared to the honours programme. I would like to improve, or it would be better if they reduce the number of subjects, as it could be hectic for newbies. College is very strict with events, unlike other DU colleges, they generally don't call any famous artists for the fests.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College Geography Department is best for academic and research studies.
Placements: Till now there has been no job opportunity provided by the department. Students have to get jobs on their own, but the faculty is very supportive. Recently, the department has acknowledged this issue and made a placement cell exclusively for geography students, and soon this problem will be resolved.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, the geography department is the best in this college and one of the best in Delhi University. It has 3 labs stacked with proficient systems and free Wi-Fi (more than 100 Mbps speed). All the classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. The canteen is decent and the library is also very nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They have a very good understanding of their subjects. This course curriculum is very relevant for further research studies or foreign studies. Exams are not that tough and you get extra time to explore different things.
Other: The college is very strict and disciplined, which is in my view very good. If you are choosing this college for academic purposes this is best. The college has a strict rule regarding attendance. 67 percent of attendance is mandatory for each student.

Pretty decent college, good campus life, and infrastructure.
Placements: I have done my graduation from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. There were almost 150 students in my batch. As I am a student of political science, there were no placements in this subject. But in other courses, many of my friends were placed in good companies. Overall, the college provided good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was so good, like there were all the facilities, like labs, classrooms, and a very good and decent library. This college did not have its own hostel, as many colleges in the University of Delhi don’t have, but you will easily get PGs and flats nearby.
Faculty: Teachers were very good, a very good and decent staff. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us a lot. The examinations were tough, but you can pass easily if you studied the whole year properly. You require 33.33 marks to pass the exams, which were not that tough.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in political science, and I am also preparing for UPSC. To be very honest, the campus life was so good. There were many events and festivals, and the college was overall so good.

Satisfied with college because of the faculty, infrastructure, good placement records, and campus.
Placements: The placement record of our college is pretty much good, especially of the Commerce department. Approximately 70% of students got placed by big companies such as Deloitte, Grant Thornton, and so on. The highest package was 23 LPA and the lowest package was 4-5 LPA approximately.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is also good compared to other colleges, as we have Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and campus. Classrooms have smart boards for visual understanding. Every department has its own lab facility. The college canteen is also decent. The rates are a little bit high, but overall the quality is good.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are well qualified, and some of them are pursuing Ph.D. Their teaching skills are also good, and they are really helpful in dealing with students' problems. The level of semester exams is moderate, as some papers come easy and some are lengthy.
Other: I chose this course because I get to study two subjects that will be beneficial for my UPSC preparation.

Great college, infrastructure, teachers, cand campus experience, worth it.
Placements: In my course, there are around 70 students only, and thus there is only one class for all Political Science Honours students. Girls to boys ratio is not that good, there is a 75-25 boy-girl ratio in our course. However, there are also good placements through the placement cell of the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is great. Classrooms, which are very important for me, are good, spacious, and aerated. We have computer labs, smart boards, etc. Similarly, washrooms, canteen, etc. are well maintained. As compared to other colleges I have visited, I like the infrastructure of this college more.
Faculty: I will say the faculty of my course is pretty great. We could see them putting real efforts. Same goes for the curriculum too. However, it’s pretty wide, and we often find ourselves rushing through the course. The exam pattern is also good. However, I don’t like unnecessary exams for subjects like SEC, VAC, and AEC.
Other: Regarding areas of improvement, I will say that annual events within our college are pretty less as compared to other colleges, which I would like to see change.

Overall, it is a good college with a better academic environment.
Placements: Around 50 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered is 23 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA. In my course, Geography Honours, there are placements in urban planning and GIS mapping. Niti Ayog and other private firms offer internships to students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a well-maintained library that runs from 8 AM to 11:59 PM. It has AC classrooms, Wi-Fi, and other facilities. The quality of food is average in our college canteen. Emergency medical facilities are overall good. Sport and games facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and sweet. They are very qualified in their subject. The course curriculum is relevant, and if students study well, then they can become industry-ready upon completion of the course. Semester exams are easy to moderate in difficulty level. The pass percentage is above 95 percent.
Other: I chose geography honours as my course. It provides a better scope in urban planning and other GIS fields. My college campus has a good academic and supportive environment. Fests and other events went well at my college.

Students can choose this college as it has good faculty and a good ambience.
Placements: My course does not offer any placements directly from any company, but it is available in B.Com (Hons). Most of my course includes examination preparation or preparation by professors. We can also be headed to a political analyst role. There are many opportunities in the government sector rather than the private. Students can have a passion for journalism through understanding the core of politics.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide hostels, but the food in the canteen is fine.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. Exams conducted are of a semester type. Many faculty members are PhD holders from many renowned institutions, like Jawaharlal Nehru University. If we study a decent amount, then 10 semester exams are not that hard. Department and faculty members are very supportive, and also students throughout the course, by developing them in skills like public speaking, pressure management, situation handling, etc.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the civil services. The crowd in the college is decent. The campus life is quite good, but the fest needs to be improved.

Satisfied with the faculty, poor sports facilities, and good library facilities.
Placements: So the placement in my course is really good as it is a theory paper, and with this paper, we merely get a placement. If you really want placement, then you must learn skills to get placed otherwise, it is difficult to get placed with this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite evolving from 1st years administration is working hard to make it better. Classes have a digital board, Wi-Fi in the classroom and campus, and the library is fantastic, it has every type of books and the reading hall has many facilities like centralised AC, fans, charging points, Wi-Fi for students, and the closing time of the library is 12:00 midnight.
Faculty: In my course, professors are really highly qualified and experienced. They are really helpful and friendly in nature. The course curriculum is really relevant, it will help us in UPSC preparation, and the semester exam is not really difficult if you pay attention in class. Then, it's easier to pass the exam, and the pass percentage of my class is 95%.
Other: The campus of the college gives very aesthetic vibes, and the crowd is so good. The best thing in my course is the behaviour of professors, they are so cooperative.
