A honest review by a fresher.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Sc. mathematics honors and in my class, there are 64 students. About 60% of students get placement and others go for government jobs like SSC CGL and UPSC too. Top companies are like Reliance and Tata. The maximum package I have seen is about 30 LPA. In my course, there is about data entry job is the top role in corporates.
Infrastructure: I like the college infrastructure. But in the morning library I have issues because that's under construction so that lack of space. There is problem with sitting and only available to borrow books. For study evening library is open. So there is sometimes no seat and have to go to an empty class.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are too good. They are too much in studies and in understanding concepts. I liked our probability teachers most because they are experienced. Also, tell beyond the book knowledge that can be helpful in corporate life and should give more opportunities.

The reality of a Mathematics Honours program in a commerce-focused college.
Placements: As a first-year student, I am not very familiar with the placement opportunities for my course. However, I can say that the Mathematics Honours program at this college receives a lot of criticism. Since this is a commerce-oriented college, no other science-related courses are available. Many people view this program as a sign of inferiority.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college, compared to other Delhi University colleges, is mediocre. The benches in some classrooms are very uncomfortable to sit on, and only a few classrooms have smart screens. There is no hostel facility, the ground is currently under construction, the library is almost always completely filled, and the canteen has a small dining area.
Faculty: The curriculum is followed according to the university, and the exams take place in an easygoing manner. Most of the teachers do not emphasize how the students are taking the exams or whether they are cheating or not. However, the teachers are great, have good experience, and maintain a positive attitude toward the students.
Other: The only big event we have in a year is the Diwali Mela, called Divyotsav. There are no freshers' parties, fests, or other events. Plus, there aren’t many colleges nearby except CVS and SAC. On the bright side, several active societies help you connect with seniors and other students, making college life more engaging. It would be great if there were more events and collaborations with nearby colleges to make things more lively.

Satisfied experience at this college, but it could have been better.
Placements: My batch of B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics mostly contains boys in the class, and the placement percentage, as compared to other subjects, is less than other courses. But still, this course gets a lot of value, and the highest package goes up to 15 LPA and the minimum package is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities are quite decent in my college. It has a good canteen, but the construction is still going on in the college, which has prohibited access to certain places. The rest of the things are well-managed. The only requirement is air-conditioned classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is not up to the mark; it is satisfactory. I don’t think the courses taught in college make students industry-ready until they enter one. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and doable.
Other: It was not my first option, but I had to go with it due to the value it had. The events and fest crowd could have been better at this college.

Precise and concise based on facts, figures, and opinions.
Placements: My college has a good placement cell, but it is mostly limited to particular courses like BCom and BCom (H). However, all courses get the same opportunities. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the average is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters are KPMG, Zomato, Ditto, Carpl AI, and DeShaw.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is improving in my college, and there is construction going on right now, but the main problem is with classrooms and the comfort level. I want air-conditioned classrooms so that it feels better, plus improvements in Wi-Fi facilities and the library.
Faculty: Teachers are good in my college, but they lack discipline. The management should be improved, and the teachers only stick to the curriculum. I don’t think the students become industry-ready. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and the passing CGPA is above 4.

Absolutely satisfied from college infrastructure, staff. Good placement in 2021.
Placements: My batch contains almost 60 students, and almost 10% of students get placed every year. The highest package is INR 16.00.000 and the lowest package is INR 3,50,000.
Infrastructure: My college has good infrastructure and provides all the necessary facilities for students. The campus is well-maintained, and the classrooms and labs are well-equipped. The library is well-stocked, and the hostel facilities are good. Overall, I am satisfied with the infrastructure of my college.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and help students in so many ways, both inside and outside the classroom. The teachers are well qualified, and each has completed a PhD at a well-known educational institute. The semester exams are challenging for those who don't study, but otherwise they are quite easy.
Other: As I am from a mathematics background and have an interest in mathematics, I preferred to choose mathematics honours rather than other courses.

The golden period of my life.
Placements: If you want to be placed, then you will have to score at least a 9.5+ CGPA overall per year. The highest package was 30 LPA, and the lowest package was 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Tata Consultancy Service, Wipro and other government and private sectors. At least 60%–65% of students got internships from Internnexus, Makeinterns, etc. in college. If you are pursuing a BSc in mathematics, then after that, do an M.Sc., then a Ph.D., and you could become a professor at Delhi University.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is best on the South Campus. It's one of the best colleges in Delhi University. There is free Wi-Fi everywhere. The college has 6 labs with A.C. installed. Library is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is no hostel in service. The canteen provides good food. They have limited sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are very polite and generous. They teach us in a very simple and easy way that makes us understand topics very clearly. Almost every student scores an 8–10 CGPA every semester. The semester exams are very easy. If you have not prepared for the college exams, just solve the previous year's question paper, and you can easily get a 7-8 CGPA. The pass percentage in college is 80%–90%.
Other: I want to be a mathematics teacher so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that you will enjoy doing and solving mathematics. It makes me happy. Our courses are practical for an individual subject; we want them to teach us deeply, not only the basics but also the advanced ones. There are very few events and fests held at our college. Everyone wants a fest to be held but no one comes. There are many societies that encourage us to take part in different activities. The surroundings are too good.
