Overall, the infrastructure and environment are good but placement depends on the course.

Placements: According to 2024-25 data, the overall placement percentage of B.A. students is 28 percent. But I don't know about how much percentage of students got placed from the B.A. programme Hindi +Geography). I am not aware of the amount of the package students got. There is no company who recurit any B.A. programme students who have only the B.A. programme degree in his/ her hand. I have not seen any particular student from my course who got any placement, they fully depend on government jobs.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are quite good. We have proper classrooms, a library, reading halls, an academic auditorium, and an open-air auditorium. There is no hostel facility in our college, so no question about the quality of food and all. But there is a well-maintained canteen. We also have medical facilities. We have a playground, but due to the construction of the building, the playground looks like a heap of trash.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, but some are coming onlt to complete their duties. At times, I noticed that teachers know that students are not understanding what they are teaching, but they keep doing formalities. This course is fully irrelevant. It produces only graduates, not creative ones. The semester exams are very easy. All questions are from the previous year.

Other: I didn't choose this course, I got this unfortunatly because I had a dream to study at nDelhi University. In this course, they should add some vocational subjects to produce creative ones.

It has good academics, atmosphere, helpful faculty, and decent campus facilities.

Placements: Most students focus on higher studies or government exams. So around 20 to 30% of students opt for campus placements. The average salary package goes around 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA. From research and consulting firms, the placement cell regularly shares some good opportunities to students for marketing and other departments also.

Infrastructure: The college offers great facilities. It has clean classrooms and plenty of books in the library. We have access to the reading hall till 12 AM. Clean water is provided. Washrooms are also clean. Canteen serves food at reasonable prices. The campus doesn't have a hostel, so students have to live in PGs nearby.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified. They are approachable. The course curriculum is good. It covers core concepts that help to build a strong base. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and require consistent revision along with regular lectures. Attendance makes scoring good. Teachers are always ready to help students with academic doubts. Grades are quite manageable.

Other: I chose this course because it has flexibility. Students can prepare for civil service exams. The campus culture is vibrant with regular academics. We have active societies, debates, and an annual phase. Metro connectivity is convenient, making traveling easy. Exposure to seminars makes the academic experience better.

This college is worth it, and you can secure your future here.

Placements: This college has a placement cell, but as I am in the first year, I don't know about the packages. However, I can assure you that you can secure your placement after working hard and doing internships. Our college provides you with internship programs for several months.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is beautiful. Our college has Wi-Fi, a geography lab, a park, and a big playground, and at night, the lamps look so beautiful. There is a sports society, Prakran, that organizes events like volleyball, badminton, and leg cricket.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful to students. There is also a mentor and mentee program for students that helps them in every situation when they need help. We can share any doubts with them without hesitation, and they also answer us very firmly.

Other: My course mainly focuses on geography and how geographical features help us in the modern world. I want them to add smart boards in our class. The crowd at the college is very friendly with each other, and there are also many events organized by the student union.

Review of shaheed Bhagat Singh College.

Placements: In my course, the placement is low at 10% because my course is not very demanding. But the placement in B.Com and B.Com (H) is high like 50 - 60% of students get placed. The highest package ranges around 15 LPA, and the average is 5-6 LPA. Big Four like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC are coming for placement. 50-70% of students get internships. In my course, roles offered are geographers, political analysts, and data scientists.

Infrastructure: In the Geography department, there are well-maintained labs with computers and Wi-Fi. Books are also available in the library. In case a required book is not available, you can write an application for its availability. classroom has a projector for practical showcases of maps and geographical effects. But our college doesn't provide any hostel facilities. You have to stay in PGs outside.

Faculty: Teachers are well educated. They are helpful and knowledgeable. Some are quite good and also take self-initiative to teach better. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, but the curriculum has to be more refined to make the students industry-ready. It's not very difficult to pass semester exams in the college. Some days of preparation can help to score 7-8 CGPA.

Other: I want to pursue geography because it helps in my UPSC preparation. That's why I chose this course. There are very few colleges that provide geography courses. Some upgrades in classroom infrastructure, like ACs and curtains to block light, are required. Projectors should work fine. Events are held on a regular basis. The campus crowd is better. Our principal sir maintains discipline on the campus. For extracurricular activities, our college has sports team, debating team, and they do great and wonderful competitions in other colleges. Our campus surrounding contains College of Vocational Studies, Select City malls, and a good metro.

I am satisfied with the faculty. It has average placements. The infrastructure is improving.

Placements: Placement percentage in our college is average. We cannot hope for 100 percent placement confirmation, but still the percentage is not so bad. It is average. Students from the B.Com course have high chances of getting good placements. I don't have much knowledge about B.A. courses.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. The construction work is ongoing for better infrastructure, and new labs are under construction. The infrastructure is improving. The staff is also good, but the quality of the canteen food is not good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are very knowledgeable. The overall faculty is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Talking about the difficulty of the semester exams, it is average. The most interesting thing about the college is the college societies.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn geography. Talking about the things I wish were better are that our B.A. programme doesn't get the benefits that the B.A. Honours students get,, it feels unfair. Our college lacks events and fests.
