During the 2025 SBSC placement season, more than 40 companies took part. These companies extended over 160 placement offers and more than 350 internship opportunities to the students. The highest package recorded was INR 23.05 LPA.

The Internship wing of the Cell effectively conducted internship sessions, attracting over 45 companies and more than 600 students from various colleges who registered for a variety of internship opportunities. Furthermore, the team organized an Internship Fair that received over 1000 registrations from students across different universities. More than 50 recruiters participated, including prominent names such as Bajaj Capital, EaseMyTrip, Rekruters, The Leading Solutions, Insplore Consultants, and Agile Capital Services.

My experience of Bhagat Singh College.

Placements: I see that it is above average, but not good. I know that there are good companies which come to college for placements, and as much as I see about my senior batch, some of them get placed in Deloitte and EY-like companies, but more opportunities come to B.Com (Hons) students, which seems biased.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good, the ground is not usable, and the canteen and classrooms are pretty bad. No ACs are provided in any classroom, and the canteen food is the worst. There are no options in food, no proper hygiene for staff in the canteen, and we don't have hostel facilities.

Faculty: It is also average, but the exam conduct is good at least. Faculty is average, some of the professors don't teach well or some of them don't even care, as there is no feel of a college professor in them, and specific ones have a very weird attitude because they don't care about the ERP rules and schedule.

Other: Our college doesn't hold any fest recently and has very strict rules about attendance and college visiting.

SBSC gives opportunity to explore everything outside academics.

Placements: The placement record of SBSC hasn't been that great, as around 30 or close to that many students out of 100 are placed from here. Some big names from across the sectors do come to our college for placements. ICICI and IndusInd Bank from the banking sector and Infosys from the IT sector hire students from our college regularly.

Infrastructure: Honestly, the infrastructure is good, but it is developing daily as new blocks are being built. Hostel facilities, though, we don't have, and I don't think the management is even planning that. The canteen of our college is good, and thus outsiders like me can manage their meals inside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are scholars in every sense, as their teaching is mind-boggling. They use the best methods and make sure students learn everything about our course. Giving their best, I believe, is in their DNA, as they never give up, and even weak students get intelligent here. So, for all these things, they should get their due credit.

Other: There are not many events, and also our college hardly hosts events or sends its students to other colleges for participation.

Infrastructure and facilities are improving every day, with average placements.

Placements: For economics, almost 60% of the students who registered with the placement cell are hired with an average package of 6 LPA. The median salary package offered is 5.19 LPA, and the highest package offered is 17 LPA. Common hiring companies include Goldman Sachs, ICICI Bank, Policy Bazaar, Zomato, etc. Jobs offered are for financial analysts, risk management, and investment operations.

Infrastructure: The college is under construction. The ground and most of the classrooms are closed. The college has a well-established library and reading hall and also has a separate medical room with basic treatment tools. The college also provides an open Wi-Fi facility. The college canteen serves average food at affordable prices.

Faculty: In the Economics department, most of the teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. They provide excellent guidance to students and also provide real-world examples for better understanding. The college follows the curriculum as per Delhi University guidelines. The college also provides skill enhancement and value addition courses, but the appointed teachers don't have specialisation in those courses. Common exams are held here where a common question paper is provided to all the colleges in Delhi University, and the exam level is average.

Decent college for students who want to pursue B.Com (Hons).

Placements: I would say the placement cell of our college is pretty active, with multiple internship and placement programs throughout the entire year. Major companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY and consulting firms like BCG and BCN visit the campus for campus placements.

Infrastructure: I think the infrastructure of the college can be improved. Also, the area of the college can be extended if possible, as it feels a little cramped for two colleges to exist simultaneously. The rest, the authorities are working on developing the infrastructure of the college, and it has been under construction for the last two years. So we don't have a playground for the purpose of sports or fests. We have decent labs and well-maintained libraries with spacious reading halls, and it's one of my favourite parts about the college. The quality of the canteen food is decent.

Faculty: Faculty members of the commerce department are excellent. The curriculum needs some changes over time, in my opinion. The university needs to refresh the curriculum and the course pattern. The semester-end exams are moderate to difficult. But the attendance criteria of this college stand pretty strict, with 67% being the minimum requirement.

I am very satisfied with faculty, great placement opportunities & well developed infrastructure.

Placements: The college offers a lot of placement opportunities, such as internships in content writing, research analysis, graphic design positions, teaching assistant positions, and as professors. Many more internships are provided for students pursuing B.A. Hons in English.

Infrastructure: The college has free Wi-Fi installed in every block for students to use. Our library offers a wide range of source materials and textbooks for all courses, as well as reference material for various competitive exams like Seats, CLAT, GRE, and so on. It has the facility for issuing books free of cost against your college ID.

Faculty: All the teachers and professors are highly qualified, approachable, and extremely helpful while clarifying any doubts or questions. Classes are informative and interactive. Notes and other reference materials are also provided. Regular sessions are held for doubt clearance.

Satisfied with the faculty members and good placements.

Placements: Basically, my course is Political Science Honours, most of the students are preparing for civil services. Also, other than this, placements are good and highly paid. May be around 30-40 LPA and also students do internships and all according to their interest.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a facility of Wi-Fi but it doesn't work properly. I think the AC is also for show. Sports facilities are good. Food in the canteen is also good and tasty. But the prices are a little bit high. The library is superb, and the environment of the reading hall is also very disciplined.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. I mean, teachers are very understanding. They are very helpful and qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students not only to be industry ready but also helps a person become a better human being in society. I don't think semester exams in college are difficult because if we can go through the syllabus, then it's easy.

Other: I chose this course because I want to know about politics and how the system works. The best thing about my course is that it shapes a person into an aware citizen of the country. Events and seminars are also held in our college from time to time, and scholarships are also provided to students. The campus surroundings are excellent.
