Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Many good companies offer campus internships, including highly rated ones. There is tough competition between students to grab the best opportunities. Both summer and winter internships are offered. Students are hired on the basis of their examinations and interviews.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi works well. Classes are neat and clean. The library is very large. All facilities provided in the college are top-notch. Even the canteen food is great. The water is chilled during summers. There are good seating areas around the campus. Everything is clean and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and diligent. They coordinate with students for any kind of help they need. A person can look up to any teacher for help, and they will be there. Semester exams are a little to moderately tough. The things being taught in class come in very handy at that time.

Shivaji College is a green campus where students bloom.
Placements: We do have a society related to internships. They do provide internships. Other than that, I have less knowledge about packages. The college also provides internships to students. Companies come and look for people as well. We also have seminars.
Infrastructure: I have never lived in a hostel. My college also doesn't provide hostel facilities. The classrooms and library are both good. It has Wi-Fi and labs. We have a Maths lab, computer lab, and biochemistry lab. We have our department room as well. We have seminar halls for business and economics, future planning, and many more.
Faculty: I think teachers and seniors are really good. They help a lot. The exams are also not as difficult. They cover what they should. The environment around is very friendly and calm. The passing percentage is 40%, but to pass, you have to pass the continuous assessment, which happens between regular classes.
Other: It's a self-funded course. No doubt, it's really good, but I think if they provide more placements, then it would be better. It has finance, business, and economics, which help us understand how companies work and how things work.

All in all, the college is good.
Placements: Placements depend on the courses because I am a B.A. Programme student. That's why there are almost no placements for B.A. Programme students directly. But you get a tag of Delhi University, which helps you to get a placement or job in other colleges' placement fairs, the NITI Aayog scheme, or any political party.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the library. The library is good. The infrastructure is good because we have a new campus building and an old one. There is a park. We have the biggest sports ground of DU and the best cricket coaching. The canteen is okay, not so good. There is no hostel. Medical facilities are 2 stars out of five. There is infrastructure for cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, an open gym, and table tennis.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and experienced. Teaching quality is good. We have the best faculty for Geography, History, and Political Science. We have faculty who play a crucial role in the education system. The Geography faculty is the best Geography faculty at DU.
Other: I chose this course because the merit was low. We don't need to study rigorously. But if we read earlier, then we do not have to work hard later. Events and fests are very good. The crowd is mixed. Connectivity is very good. The college is 500 metres from the metro. Scholarships are equivalent to your fees. There are societies for Dance, Singing, Drama, and Fashion. There are also a department society, Enactus, a placement cell, additional courses, and language courses.

It is better than expected.
Placements: Placement information in this course is limited and not that relevant. Most students are either preparing for competitive exams, doing research, or are in the academic sphere or other fields. Otherwise, the placements are okayish, not the best, though.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility provided by the college. Hence, it cannot be rated. Canteen food is also okay, both taste-wise and hygiene-wise. The canteen could be better. The menu has also included new options recently. As for the infrastructure of the course, resources are available.
Faculty: Faculty is mostly cooperative and helpful. The course curriculum, however, does not seem properly structured and lacks relevance to current career options. Semester exams are relatively easy. However, if prepared well using good sources and paying attention.

It is a nice learning curve at Shivaji College.
Placements: Make no mistake, but the placement cell is highly active here. Still, the placements are very few, as Shivaji is perhaps a Tier-2 college of DU. Placements that some students get through campus are in the range of 3–4 LPA. The highest placement from Shivaji College, University of Delhi, is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is honestly very impressive. Ours is an off-campus college. Many good places and hangout zones like McDonald's and Epicuria are just 500 metres from the college. Our college probably has one of the best sports complexes among all colleges of DU.
Faculty: Two qualities that need a very special mention are that our faculty members are polite and understanding. They understand that students of this generation lack patience. This is the biggest learning that they provide us beyond books. Course-wise, I feel mine is the best course. I am pursuing English Hons. I want to have the best command over the language.
Other: There are various societies at our college. The process there is something that I cherish. Placements could be better. Compared to other colleges, our college hardly has any placement opportunities.

Very good college according to the name.
Placements: The college has decent placement opportunities. Mainly, students from fields like B.Com or B.Sc. graduate take part in the placement cell. There is a separate placement society which provides details about placement and internship opportunities. Not big companies, but decent companies. Other than that, a few low-grade companies came to the college. They provide placement to good students.
Infrastructure: Accommodation is a very big problem in this college. You have to take a PG or flat because no accommodation is provided by the college. You can find Wi-Fi around the college campus, but it is in certain specific areas like the library or computer labs.
Faculty: The curriculum of each and every course is according to the New Education Policy 2020. It is very decent and very good, I will say. You have to put in some extra effort from your side if you want to be better in this college. Teachers and faculty members are very good.
Other: You get to see a lot of different types of societies like debating society, cultural society, and dance society. Nowadays, chess societies are also created in the college. Other different types of things like cultural events, etc. are there in the college.

Q:   How many marks are necessary for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry at Shivaji College, University of Delhi?
A:

To be eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry at Shivaji College, University of Delhi, the minimum marks required are:

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education in the science stream with 55 percent or more marks in the aggregate of chemistry, biology, and physics/maths and passing in one compulsory language (i.e., English). Selection will be based on the cutoff in the qualifying exam (5 percent relaxed for reserved category students). The duration of the course is three years.

Q:   What will happen if someone misses the internal exam in Shivaji College?
A:
Nothing happens, if you have some medical reasons then you can submit the medical. I have seen that internal exams are taken 2-3 times because of missing students. Teachers should be provided the reason for absence in the exam and they would arrange another day for internals and sometimes teachers gives the option of giving internal exams if students scores less (to help the students in improving their internal marks). But if you know that you haven't scored well then you'll have to score good in semester exam so that you'll get good marks and won't fail.

At Shivaji College, if you fail the internal exam, nothing to worry about, teachers give you another chance to give internal exams, and even they provide questions that would be coming in internals which helps a lot in getting good marks for students.
