Shasun is a perfect blend of academics and opportunities.
Placements: The placement is excellent over here. Around 80 percent of the students got placed. The highest package is 7 LPA-8 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Cognizant, Entrust, Deloitte, Infosys, Capgemini, and finance companies. For us the internships are mandatory in 5 semesters. So all 100 percent of the students got internships. We got in Olympia, Tech Park, Aerohub, Twinbirds, and other CA firms.
Infrastructure: The college offers excellent infrastructure. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, and the campus has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. The library is stocked with a wide variety of books. Students can use modern computer labs for practical learning as well as seminar and conference halls for workshops, presentations, and events. Additionally the college provides a gym to promote physical fitness and overall well-being. The campus canteen offers hygienic and diverse food options, including Jain meals. Medical facilities are excellent with an Apollo Shine Centre located on campus and annual health check-ups conducted for all students. The college also encourages sports.
Faculty: Teachers are always very helpful and willing to put in extra effort to ensure students perform their best. They are highly knowledgeable and teach topics with clarity and deep insights making learning both easy and engaging. The teaching quality at the college is excellent. The staff use PPTs and projector-based presentations to explain concepts clearly making them easy to understand. The department maintains a high success rate with over 95 percent of students clearing their exams each semester. At times there have even been instances of 100 percent results.
Other: I chose B.Com Honours because it provides a strong foundation for pursuing CA and holds higher value in the job market compared to other courses. A key advantage is the opportunity to undergo internships every semester until the 5th semester which adds practical experience and industry exposure. Additionally the course includes EVS visits, industrial visits, two research projects, and various guest lectures. The college conducts various interdepartmental events and provides opportunities for students to participate in intercollegiate competitions. Major events like Kala Utsav and Shreyas showcase the college's vibrant culture and help bring out the diverse talents of students.

Highly satisfied with the infrastructure and supportive faculty, which provide a great environment.
Placements: Students pursuing their final year in the B.Com Honors degree are given placement opportunities. Around 50% of students get placed in companies like TCS, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. The package offered by these companies starts from 2 LPA and beyond. The job roles offered by these companies are good.
Infrastructure: Our campus infrastructure is environment-friendly and always clean. Classrooms on each floor of all three blocks are supported with power backup, audio-visuals (AVs), air conditioning for better circulation, and adequate seating arrangements for students and lecturers. The cafeteria offers healthy foods and beverages. They maintains a clean environment during every visit. Our library has the OPAC system installed for visitors to easily check the availability of books. Students are also provided with facilities like a gym, sports ground, labs, and Apollo Shine, for maintaining their mental and physical health.
Faculty: Our lecturers are insightful, inspiring, friendly, qualified, and concerned. They not only teach us our course syllabus. But also prepare us to practically apply what we have learned so far in each semester through internships, seminars, paper presentations, research projects, etc. The question papers for each semester are framed by the University of Madras.
Other: I am a final-year student pursuing my B.Com Honors degree here, passing out in 2026. I do not regret taking up this course in 2023. All these three years have been a rollercoaster for me. Every event conducted by our department has not only been academically oriented but also entertaining. The communication and understanding between various departments are amazing. Their coordination is top-notch during every event. Students are also provided with scholarships and extra-curricular activities like music, theatre arts, drawing and painting, culinary classes, RJ & VJ classes, etc. To develop their skills and passion simultaneously.

Placements: The placement percentage is around 95 percent in the B.Com honors. The average salary is around 3 LPA, and the highest salary is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Cognizant, HCL, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, etc. 100 percent of the students got internships in honors, and the various companies include Prodapt Solutions, Vega Intellisoft, Maxtex, Infinite Megawatts, Harsha Enterprises, Learner Cortex, Specsmakers, Sutherland Global Services, Airway Hospitalities, Olympia Teach Park, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are designed to be exceptional, equipped with all essential facilities such as air conditioning, projectors, speakers, microphones, etc. College library houses 21,321 books, 11,017 titles, 1,996 reference materials, and other materials. College doesn't have hostel, however, on-campus canteen ensures hygienic and tasty vegetarian food. In collaboration with Apollo Shine, the college conducts annual health check-ups for all the students. For sports, the campus features a large ground, a basketball court, a gym, cricket nets, and other equipments.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are extremely supportive and approachable, often going beyond academics to guide students like mentors. They use practical and interactive teaching methods. The curriculum is up to date and industry-oriented. Exams are fair and manageable. The pass percentage of honors is above 99 percent.
Other: I chose B.Com honors at Shasun because it offers UG program at PG level. The best things about my course is that the program includes 5 internships, a mini group project, major individual project, providing strong practical experience and exposure. Though we have workshops, alumni interactions and internships, the course could benefit from more advanced projects and specialized electives. Shasun has a vibrant campus with many cultural events, scholarships, and competitions.

Infrastructure: Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women is known for its modern and well-kept facilities. It has spacious classrooms, labs, a library, a sports ground, and clean surroundings. We have an amphitheatre, self-spots, and canteens. Our college offers CEP classes, which help build the communication skills of students. Our college provides classes for the arts in the name of Sakthi Cell where students can learn any of the 16 art forms. They conduct events to showcase talent in the art forms.
Faculty: The faculty support students with their knowledge, friendly, and commitment to student success. The faculty members in our Honors department are qualified and supportive. The Head of the Department focuses on providing equal opportunities for all students. Exams are conducted regularly to evaluate students thoroughly and maintain academic standards.
Other: Being a student of the B.Com Honours department I study important areas of commerce with real-world applications. This prepares students for careers in finance, accounting, corporate sectors, and more. The department of Honours also supports academic research with students guided by faculty members, publishing papers in national and international journals, and representing at conferences. We, the students of the Honours department are taken on industrial visits and EVS trips to gain practical knowledge and we appreciate the smooth combination of quality teaching, good facilities, and a lively campus life.

Campus drive provide us a best platform to interact with HR's of esteemed companies providing insights into the interview process.
Infrastructure: Our college has created a supportive and inspiring place for learning and personal growth. The infrastructure, like classrooms and laboratories, is well-equipped for practical learning. The college gives students a chance to explore their potential skills through various academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: With thorough subject knowledge and concise explanations, the faculty members of the B.Com Honours department are excellent. They simplify difficult commerce subjects with real-world cases and useful examples. To improve the educational process, educators utilize smart classrooms equipped with projectors and presentations.
