The college has a good faculty and good canteen .
Placements: I am currently in the 1st year and going into the 2nd year, but I have seen that there are top companies that approach our students. Additionally, there are regular seminars, and for internships, students were allotted different places, one of which was Praxis Business School.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty well with greenery, and the classrooms are big with A.C. and fans. There is also a common room and canteen that serve good food, and overall, it is a great time while in college. The library has all the important books.
Faculty: I believe that Shri Shikshayatan College has got some of the most amazing professors who guide you, and you get to learn a lot from them. Coming to the course, it is well-acquainted with the required needs of the time and makes you updated about everything.

A short insight of SSC college.
Placements: There are a total of 19 students in my course currently. As I know from my seniors, if a person did only bachelors, then their minimum package can be around 2.5 to 3 Lacs per annum and maximum package around 8 Lacs or more per annum. In the new form of education, every students needs to do an internship once during the course of the degree. There are many things one can do after studying sociology, like become a human researcher, policy analyst, social worker, market research analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities, which I personally love. Number one has to be the air-conditioned rooms. It's so important in such hot weather. The college also provides us with a gym room, yoga room, a library, and we have a therapist in our campus, which is much needed. We have access to the grounds fully after 3pm and there we can take sport supplies and play and do so many things. We can play badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc. There is a swimming pool, which we can use after getting a subscription. The campus is very well maintained and beautiful.
Faculty: The teachers in my course are lovely. They are so cooperative, helpful and nice. They're open and free with us. They make such an environment where we don't feel throttled in speaking or putting our opinion forward. It's nice to have that environment. Semester exams, basically the internals are not that difficult if I must say so. The marking sure is uptight but mostly the papers are average. The passing percentage differs from subject to subject, as the full marks are not the same for every subject.
Other: The college participates in a lot of events and festivals and hosts many intra-college events as well, mainly sports. Tug of war competitions, basketball, badminton, etc. , nothing is left out. One thing I wish would improve was the office staff. They can get a little bit non-cooperative and make things difficult at times.
