Placements in 2025 are really good.

Placements: Companies like Ernst & Young, KPMG, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and many more come with good offers and decent packages. Every student is given an opportunity to sit in placements. Opportunities in domains like audit, tax, finance, marketing, sales, etc., are provided.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students, labs are fully furnished and well-maintained, and the college is clean and tidy. The classrooms are spacious and comfortable with a good atmosphere. The library has lots of books arranged properly. They also improved the food in the canteen.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and well-qualified. They are really helpful and also provide career guidance if you reach out to them. The curriculum followed is as per the guidelines of Calcutta University, and the difficulty level of the exams is also the same as that of CU.

Other: The college has lots of societies and gives opportunities to participate in various intra-college and inter-college events.

Wasted my money on this profit-oriented college.

Placements: Placement opportunities were poor. In my course, there were students with 8 GPA. But very handful of them were selected. Even I got an internship through Internshala. Top company was TCS but very few of them got selected. Even the package was below 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: Classroom was decent. I would not say it was too nice. Laptop conditions were very poor though. No Wi-Fi was provided at the college. Even your own cellular data will not work in that college. Canteen food tasted horrible. We had one room for sports that was always locked.

Faculty: Some teachers were not knowledgeable at all. Few think you had a lot of money to waste on paper and prints out. Not eco-friendly at all. Even the tiniest thing could be done without printouts. They will want you to invest your money in it and increase the sales of their in built stationery under the college.

Other: I wanted to pursue B.Com (hons) because I have an interest in accounts. Nothing was the best thing about my college and everything could be improved. Very crowded classroom and campus. It was a profit-oriented college. No event and fest was conducted.

Good college and has good extracurricular activities and opportunities. It has well discipline.

Placements: Shri Shikshayatan College provides good placement facilities with the assistance of its placement cell. Many known and reputed companies come for campus placements. If you have good academics and have the ability then you must get the placements.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and their labs are all fully equipped with modern equipment. Library also provides various kinds of books and has internet access. They also have a good auditorium in which all the programs are held. Hostel facility provided by the college is also good and has cleanliness all around.

Faculty: Teachers are really supportive. They will make sure about the relevance of course, subject, and tech. The semester exams are not too tough and it is conducted by University of Calcutta. You will also get the chance to participate in various clubs and also other events.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in finance. I am pursuing CA so it will be beneficial to this.

Good placements report with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement report of Shri Shikshayatan College is getting better with each passing year. I am currently pursuing B.Com Hons, passing out in the year 2025, and I have already been placed in ICICI Bank with a very good package of 6.89 LPA. Many other students have also been placed in other good companies.

Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with good quality classrooms, and has a variety of books available in the library with a good Wi-Fi connection. The library is open to students at any time. Labs are fully operatable with everything you need, and the college canteen is available with good-quality food.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful, and you can clear your doubts with them at any time. Courses it provides and the way they teach make every student industry-ready. The college provides relevant courses, with friendly and knowledgeable teachers.

I am satisfied with the faculty members, course, good placements, and a good infrastructure.

Placements: Shri Shikshayatan College offers better placements. The highest package is 3.5 LPA. The minimum package is 2 LPA. There is a huge chance for all students to get placements because the percentage rate of placements for students is above 80% every year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is outstanding. The college also has a girl's school up to class 12 so the college shares a single auditorium and playground with the school. There is also a Wi-Fi facility for students and classes are fully air-conditioned. The canteen also offers a large variety of snacks at affordable prices.

Faculty: The qualifications and knowledge of professors regarding their subject are good but they suddenly changed the shift of classes to another subject which I think is not at all good. The B.Com (Hons) course is a 4-year program with 8 semesters. It provides students with a lot of knowledge regarding the industry, commercial life, the economy of India, finance, etc.

Other: I personally chose this course because I am doing CA and B.Com is more relevant to me. I think that the way of teaching teachers may be more improved. There is a fest named Umang which is full of last and joys for students. It also offers scholarships on behalf of students' performance and attendance in their courses.

Shri Shikshayatan College.

Placements: In my batch, about 40% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest package is 1.5 LPA. PWC, KPMG, Deloitte, Motilal Oswal, TCS, and Axis Bank visit the college. I am unaware of the percentage of students getting internships. Sales associate, manager, and branch relationship officer are roles.

Infrastructure: There are computer labs, a very big library with the oldest to the latest books, fully air-conditioned classrooms, presentation rooms, a canteen, a recreation room for students to hang out, and a yoga room for practice. The campus also has a basketball court. A hostel is not available.

Faculty: Teachers of my course are very helpful and highly qualified. There are Ph.D. holders. Some have even published their hooks which are available in the college library. The curriculum is relevant but there is scope for improvement that change is dependent on the university, not the college. Semester exams can be tricky and the checking is done by the university. The college has no role in the year-end examination.

Other: It made me know about the finance world and that is something I am interested in. There should be an dvancement in the course structure to make it relevant to the real world.
