It's my second home, and it's my emotions.
Placements: 95% students were placed in the course. Wipro company is hiring for our course. 98% students got an internship from our course in Wipro company. Role of account, cashier offer in our course. Also offering from banking line. Because it's the best line for B.Com.
Infrastructure: Our college has a library, Wi-Fi, IT labs and many labs. Our canteen was too good and hygienic. The rate was too low. We have medical facilities. Sports and games we enjoy. Each and every year, celebrated sports are celebrated. Indoor games, outdoor games, everything has.
Faculty: Each and every department teacher was helpful. Qualified and knowledgeable. This course has a summer internship curriculum with activities. Semester exam in this college is given without any fear because it's too easy for us due to our teachers. Come to our college and enjoy.
Other: My college participated in every event, like Rabindra Jayanti, Saraswati Puja, Basanta Utsav, Teachers' Day, Freshers ' Day, and Social. There are extracurricular activities like seminars on different topics. Internship and scholarships were available, like Kanasree and Swami Vivekananda scholarship.

First year at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
Placements: The placement offered in St. Xavier's College is not that great compared to other top colleges in India that offer B.Com. However, the legacy of Xavier's is comparable, and the name of the institution is very valuable when applying for post-graduate programs.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a prime location, and the campus is very lively. It has multiple events happening from time to time. The library is very vast, offering a majority of books that cover almost every single genre. The campus overall is spectacular.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed to adopt the New Education Policy (New Education Policy) with case-based questions that test a student's practical knowledge more than their theoretical knowledge. The faculty is very welcoming and makes sure that the students feel at home.

A college with good infrastructural facilities and one that clears your road for the future.
Placements: As per the reports, every year around 67 to 98% of people from my college are placed in leading companies. Our packages offered range from 4 LPA to 24 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, and other leading companies from other sectors. Top job roles offered under the B.Com degree are accountant, tax consultant, financial analyst, HR executive, and other banking jobs.
Infrastructure: St. Xaviers College provides an apprehensive library with e-resource facility and a wide availability of books. Books range from educational ones to self-betterment ones as well. Classrooms are well-equipped as well with projectors, a green board, and whiteboards as well. There are a chaat corners and an ice-cream stall within the college as well which keep the students going during their college hours. There is an infirmary within the college for students to take rest in case they are sick.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, interactive, and approachable. Teaching quality shows a mix of theoretical learning as well as practical implementation. The curriculum is relevant as it is updated as per the new education policy and involves practical thinking, ethical reasoning, and business analytical skills.

St Xaviers College Autonomous, Kolkata, is the best in Bengal.
Placements: 80% of students who sit for recruitments get placed. The highest is 20 LPA. The four companies also come to our campus for recruitment, although our college does not have its own internship programe, it promotes individual internship initiatives.
Infrastructure: The campus has 3 blocks, the commerce block being the biggest. The campus is located on Park Street, the classroom has a capacity of 100 students, and it has projectors installed in all rooms. It has a huge library, labs, multiple seminar halls, a huge auditorium, and a conference hall. We also have a canteen, a football field, 2 basketball courts, and great Wi-Fi all around the campus.
Faculty: Faculty in this college is great, they are new age teachers, who are both teachers and mentors, almost every single teacher is a Ph.D. in their discipline, they use PPTs, blackboard, and GD according to the needs of the chapters taught, there are 45+ teachers in B.Com morning, they are very approachable. The course is completely made for the industry standards. The exams are quite difficult and only 85% of the students pass.

St. Xavier's College - An ode to memories.
Placements: The batch of 2024 saw a total of 67% of students getting placed with an average CTC of 4.2 LPA. Top recruiters included the Big 4 and ICICI, Zomato, Swiggy, Tata Consultancy Services, ITC, and Godrej. The overall placement drive is a huge success.
Infrastructure: It has vintage buildings, big doors and windows, floors and walls draped in green and yellow add to the glory of the college. Suitable Wi-Fi connection is available in the library, and reading room for the students to complete their lectures and classwork.
Faculty: The semester papers follow a standard pattern of assessment, and one can score fairly well if they follow the classes regularly. Teaching faculty is miraculously well-versed in their particular subjects. They teach with a lot of care and diligence, and make sure the students get the concepts well. The students sit for continuous internal assessment to check their progress.

Placement cell is inactive, don't expect a decent placement, faculty members are also good.
Placements: How many are placed, no one knows because no results have come out showing how many get placed. During my duration, only TCS came. But on the board, it shows Amazon has also come to recruit. Those who get placed in TCS are offered the BPS role, and salary given is approximately Rs 15,000 - Rs 16,000 per month.
Infrastructure: There are smart classrooms but very rarely used for commerce department. There are two separate common rooms where you can play carrom and table tennis. There is a canteen where the pricing is quite low and student-friendly. The taste of the food is decent. There are no hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are too friendly and helpful. They can manage your attendance problem, and can sort out any official problem. But the syllabus doesn't make you industry-ready. Semester exams are tough especially if it's CU, and there is a 75% passing students.
