Infrastructure: Hostel has high-level security features at its entrance and provides excellent accommodation compared to nearby PGs. However, the food quality is very low, as the meals are consistently bland and unappetizing. On the plus side, the rooms are very hygienic due to daily cleaning by the staff.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing a five-star teaching quality. The course curriculum is good and effectively prepares students to be industry-ready. Due to the excellent faculty, students can easily handle the semester and learn valuable skills. The college's pass percentage is 95%.

Placements: About 85% of students get placed every year in our college. The highest package of our college is 11.75 LPA. The lowest package is about 4 LPA. The average package is about 6 LPA. Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. Facilities provided are also good. The whole college has Wi-Fi. The library is also well-maintained with all kinds of books. The hostel facility is all good. The food provided is also good and healthy for students.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and highly qualified. The teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum is also relevant to all students and makes them ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult. The passing percentage is about 35%.

Other: I have always been interested in software development, so I joined in the computer science engineering stream. The thing that needs to improve is to provide workshops and training for students. The fest takes place every year. The crowd is heavy with 1,000 students of only engineering. Placements: Almost 40 percent to 45 percent of students get placed in college. The highest package in 2022 was INR 7.5 Lacs to one of the students in the first American company. The average package usually goes to INR 3 to INR 4 Lacs. The company which visited for this academic year were : 1. Infosys 2. First American 3. Proxelera and a few more. The college itself has a training chamber with name Shritek innovation, which provide internship opportunity at the end of every even semester. At the end of the first year, there is a provision for a compulsory internship from the institution itself. Later again at the end of the second semester, we have a mandatory internship schedule and at the end, there is a 6-month internship programme. The top role offered to the applicants of these courses is developer, coder, data analytics, and data Scientist.

Infrastructure: The college campus has a beautiful fountain area in front of entrance. This college is subdivided into to portion one for MBA department and another one is engineering department. The various courses available here are 1. Artificial intelligence and data Science 2. Computer Science and engineering 3. Electronic and communication engineering 4. Civil engineering 4. Information Science engineering 5. Mechanical engineering and under MBA department Master of business administration is offered which is a post graduate professional degree. The college has well oriented library along with a digital library. In digital library LAN facility is available also in skill and project lab wi-fi facility is available. Currently in 2022 two students club of name SIET-DEVOID and SIET-AI MINDS have been launched which respectively deal with cloud computing and DEVOPS and artificial intelligence. The classrooms of first year are projector oriented. NOW coming towards the hostel:- the hostel is subdivided into 3 blocks 1. CAUVERI BLOCK 2. NARMADA BLOCK 3. GODAVARI BLOCK Basically earlier Cauveri was for engineering students but Nowday's its the combo of medical and tech students. It has rule of sharing one room with 4 member each member will be assigned with tier own table and a chair and a respective cupboard. Similarly boys hostel is subdivide into two block:- 1. NBH:-for seniors 2. OBH:-for first year student boys hostel has its own gym and sport room similarly for girls one badminton court is there and carrom as well as ludo and chess is provided in evening. When it comes to food it has south oriented menu having dosa, idli and tumkur special chitrana in the morning and then a complete meal in the afternoon and then comes the evening tea and coffee and in night from 7:30 to 9 pm food is available. The college as well as hostel both has it canteen. The medical facilities is quite good because this college comes under shridevi group of institution which has its own hospital inside the campus.

Faculty: The teachers assigned for first year is extremely good. They are friendly in nature as well as strict at time which create an inducing environment in the beginning also they put there all effort. As the semester gets incremented the faculty is computer Science and engineering department is extremely good which basically has four student demanded faculty known as four pillars of the college. The teaching is blackboard based having assigned laboratory for technical subject. Laboratory like Java and dsa is very much helpful for the technical growth of the individuals. The semester exams are actually moderate if you are working on daily basis all you need is to have a regularity and consistency. Exam pattern consist of three internals and a external in which each internals has equally weightage for the internal marks. For 2021 scheme students the has 50 internal and 50 external marks distribution in which there were three internals and a quiz along with assignment.

Other: I had curiosity and interest in mathematics since beginning even when its comes to coding I was extremely affectionate so I chosen computer Science and engineering to deal with all the technological phenomena. Change in way of teaching and enhancing practical knowledge will surely result in betterment of this sector. The college organize an odd semester fest with name shriutsav.

Best college for CSE in Tumkur.

Placements: 100% students were placed as per last year witnessed. The highest package for student placed last year is 6 LPA, the lowest package for student placed last year is 1.8 LPA. And Average package for the students in placement is 3.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course is Wipro, TCS, Infosys, IBM etc. 100% students got internship in our course in companies like SCII, Verzeo, Tech fortune. Top roles offered in our course is Assistant developer, Web developer.

Infrastructure: Wide campus around 80 acres, With spacious buildings for college as well as hostel. Wi-Fi is not available through out the campus. Spacious library with around 3000+ books related our course it self, Digital E-Library, library also has Newspaper-magazine reading room specifically. Hostel has clean spacious room and hygiene clean system by Avini cleaning service daily, 24*7 water and electricity facility, with limited time for hot water supply. As of Canteen Food is good and service. As of hostel mess arrogant mess in-charge who ignore all the complaints made by students regarding food quality and staff hygiene. Even mess warden inform students to pay the full fees during 2 years of lockdown.

Faculty: Teaching and non-teaching faculty members were always humble and supporting academic wise as well as curricular wise. They always look after us regarding any problems. Teaching quality is good and they provide hand-written note too. Course curriculum relevant, and TPO make sure with his effort that each and every student passing-out is Industry ready. Exams in the college held very strictly and mid-range difficulty of exams. 95% students were pass-out every year.

Other: I always loved to code and programme so that's the main reason to select this course. Increase in industry level project working opportunity should be increase in our course, Events held very well in our college, Shree-Utsava held every year is college fest. Scholarship opportunity is offered to each and every student.

We have the best infrastructure in our college. Everything is provided by the college.

Placements: Around 75% of the students in our college got placed. Most of them got placed through pool campus. Some local companies visited here for the campus placements, and some were selected. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA. Companies which recruit here are Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, SLK Software. They offer good roles and values. They are decent staff who encourage students. The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is around 5 LPA. All students attended the interviews conducted by companies, and it is mandatory for all.

Infrastructure: Our college has one of the best infrastructures. The college is not less than a temple. It is one of the cleanest and peaceful colleges available in Bangalore. Our college has one of the best labs, and we have all the equipment needed. We have the best library here. Our college provides the best facilities and infrastructure. We have a good clean hostel, and we get decent food there. We have the best canteen, and the food served is hygienic and clean. Our college has sports and other activities. Other than this, our college encourages for sports.

Faculty: Decent teachers are present at our college. They are the best in their subjects and have good knowledge of the subjects. The quality of teaching is good here. The course is relevant, but this college is affiliated to VTU and subjects offered are old. However, it makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I have a great passion for computers, so I have chosen the best I could (computer science and engineering). The playground could be improved. We have the best events in Bangalore known as Sambhram, and we have a good crowd on the campus. Scholarships are provided for poor students.

It is a good college in Tumkur with a lot of opportunities.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. The college provides a lot of placement opportunities. The salary package offered ranges from 1.8-7 LPA. The good thing is a lot of startup companies visit Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology. A lot of pool campus opportunities are also offered here. A few companies like Byju's, Speridian, SLK Software, System Consultant Information India, Accord and many others visited the campus for placements. Almost 91% of the students were placed in 2018.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent except for computer labs. Our batchmates faced many issues with the computers present in the lab. Classrooms are very good. The library is excellent, and you can access the internet anytime in the library. There are three canteens, and I would rate 3.5 out of 5 for the taste. My friends who stayed in the hostel have faced a lot of issues with the food there, and I think these kind of issues are common in every college hostel.

Faculty: faculty members of the computer science department are very friendly and help students a lot. I would rate 4 out of 5 for the quality of teaching. PPTs are most preferred teaching method adopted by lecturers. I didn't like the way of teaching much. But the lecturers were very helpful regarding the issues beyond studies.

Other: The college organises a lot of hackathons, fests, and national conferences. The college provides scholarships and many opportunities. They organise a college fest, and we can also participate in many inter-college fests. The campus is very crowded as they offer many courses like a diploma, MBA, MBBS, M.Tech and many more. So, students have many opportunities in this college. There are seven colleges in Tumkur districts. After Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology is the best if you want to study in Tumkur.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Currently, 10% of students in our course get placed. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. For now, WonkSnow is the top company among all recruiters, and the others offer lower packages. The same 10% of students get internships at higher companies. No specific job roles are offered yet. They are decided after the internship.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good, with a range of around 5 Mbps. Labs are also good. The systems are in proper condition for use. Classrooms are quite good, but are missing projectors in every class. The library is also good. We also have a digital library for internet surfing.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and cannot be expressed easily. The course is designed to make students industry-ready. But the subjects need to be updated to the latest version instead of the old version. The semester exams are not difficult. The overall pass percentage is above 90%.

Other: I want to be a coder from the beginning. I chose this course after completing 2nd PUC because I love coding and computers. CSE is the best course for that. As I said earlier, the subjects are in an older format and need updating. All other activities, like events and fests, are going well.
