Satisfied with my Political Science Honours department and good internship and placement.
Placements: There are a total of 60 students in my class and the highest package is INR 2,20,000 per year.
The lowest is INR 1,20,000 per year.
Students can pursue UPSC with this course, and top companies are mainly government as this course is for government job etc.
More than 60 percentage of students got internship from this college.
Infrastructure: Well AC conditioned library and reading room for studying and computer labs with a good chair and table, 2 grounds facility for better sports. Facilities are very good for my course, Political Science honors, medical facilities are always present if someone gets hurt and the canteen serves very tasty food.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good, and the course is not so very tough. Teachers give reading material for better understanding and teach us in Hindi and English medium, and the semester exams are not so much and tough. Regular tests are conducted on a daily basis.
Other: Fest like Genesis in March, Anvesha in April, Dandiya Raas in November are organized.
The campus is good, and the crowd is decent.
Office faculty should be nice to students.

It is good for enjoying college life but not much good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Most of my batchmates did not want jobs. They were preparing for civil service examinations like UPSC and SSC. Many students who wanted to work got placements, but not through college. They got placements because of the experience they got in college.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and library were average. We got most of the books from the library. The department was nice. Canteen facility was good and food availability was awesome. Sports and games were average. The playground was not big enough to play all the sports.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was the best. They are ready to help us always. The course curriculum was relevant, but it needed some changes. The passing percentage was the same as other colleges of the University of Delhi.
Other: Events and fests were not so good.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the surroundings of the college and the crowd of the college itse
Placements: This is my 1st year of college, completed my first semester, and on this basis, I can say that the strength or we can say the number of students in my own course, B.A. Hons Political Science is good, like 50, but attendance is very low. Recruitment chances are very low.
Infrastructure: A hostel facility is not present in my college, labs, and a library are there. The classrooms are in good condition. The canteen is there but has normal to below-average food items. The sports and game facilities are very good. In SLC, you can easily find opportunities for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us very well, of course, because it's Delhi University. This course is the most preferred course as you can join politics, and make a future in UPSC because Political Science is very necessary for UPSC and it may provide you with a great base. The passing percentage is 40, and it is easy to moderate to pass the exams because cheating is not allowed.
Other: I chose this course for my UPSC prep, and this course will definitely help me achieve my goals because it will make my foundation stronger. Some of us need private jobs, but in this course, there is a lack of companies that recruit B.A. Hons Political Science students. Events and fests are there, campus crowd is average, not so much for girls especially, but yes, you can consider it. The surroundings are very bad, and people in the surroundings may steal your phones and all. Extracurricular activities are there, theatre, dance, debate, and many other societies are there.

It is a good college with great faculty, but the infrastructure is average.
Placements: The placement cell is not very active in Shyam Lal College. The course I have chosen doesn't offer many placements in any of the top colleges. Internships are provided on the basis of the skills of students. Roles and ranks are provided in the same way.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. We have a library, labs, and spacious classrooms. There is no hostel in our college. The canteen is good depending on your taste. The hockey team of Shyam Lal is the undisputed champion of Delhi University and it also has a volleyball court.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful when it comes to notes and other things. The course curriculum is great. Semester exams are at a normal level. If you study well and on a regular basis, you can easily get a good CGPA.

I am satisfied with good infrastructure, faculty and events.
Placements: There are very less opportunities for arts students because most of the companies offer placements for B.Com students, but yet, the college offered other opportunities for all students. The percentage of students who got internships was around 5% of the total students in the college. The packages offered were not much good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. We have a sports room, girls changing room, separate NCC rooms for girls and boys, clean and hygienic canteen, a huge playground, garden, huge classrooms, lift etc. Washrooms were clean, and more than 10 washrooms were available.
Faculty: Faculty members of political science are one of the best faculty in Shyam Lal. Teachers were very supportive and understanding. The other faculty, like commerce and computer science are also very good. The sports teacher was very experienced, and Shyam Lal has very good sports teams among all Delhi University colleges.
Other: The campus crowd was good enough. The college provides scholarships. The fest, annual function, cultural fest and seminars are very good.
