The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved the Kashmere Gate Campus of DR. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi.
The University Grants Commission (UGC), which oversees higher education in India, accepts and recognises the degrees awarded by Ambedkar University Delhi.
Ambedkar University Delhi provides a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes in a number of subject areas, including the humanities, social sciences, and arts. By adhering to the UGC's established academic norms and criteria, the university ensures the calibre and validity of the degrees it grants.

As per the NIRF report 2023, out of 449 UG (3-year) graduates 28 were placed in the 2022 placement session. Furthermore, 73 out of 568 PG (2-year) students were placed. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi is generally considered a Tier 2 university, although it is not typically categorised as such in the same way as engineering or business schools. The university has been accredited with an "A" grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council  (NAAC), which is a positive indicator of its academic quality and overall standing.  It is fully funded by the state government and is focused on undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as research in the humanities and social sciences.
