Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Placements: Shyam Lal College, a part of the University of Delhi, generally has modest placement opportunities. While the college provides assistance in placements, the number of companies that visit is relatively limited, and the average salary package is moderate. Popular companies in the finance, marketing, and IT sectors participate, but many students pursue higher studies or off-campus placements. The placement cell is active, organizing workshops and training sessions to enhance employability. The society, like placement cells, provides internships by collaboration with private limited companies. That is also a good thing.
Infrastructure: College has a 7-acre campus in which we have a ground for hockey nets for cricket practice, a Kabaddi ground, and 4 vatikas and 1 volleyball ground. These are the grounds for sports, and we have a nursery for botany students, and all of us have nice infrastructure staff and a supportive teacher too. I feel good about my college; it's really nice.
Faculty: The teaching staff at Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi, is generally well-regarded for their qualifications and subject knowledge. Many professors hold advanced degrees and are experienced in their respective fields. They are approachable and often supportive in helping students with both academic and personal guidance. However, like many colleges, the quality of teaching can vary across departments. Fascinating infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In Shyam Lal College, one can expect an average package of 5-6 Lacs per annum, with the least salary being 2-3 Lacs per annum and a maximum salary of 10-12 Lacs per annum. In my course, B.Com (Hons), many students are pursuing this course, and top recruiting companies include Wipro, Deloitte, and many more. Approximately 30-40% of students from our college secure internships at very good places.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is above average, covering about 7.29 acres. The classrooms are spacious, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the college. The library is fully air-conditioned. Our college has 2-3 sports grounds for games like volleyball, cricket, and the main game, hockey. There are two buildings: an old one and a new one, and the food quality in the college canteen is average but satisfactory.
Faculty: The faculty of Shyam Lal College is excellent; they are very helpful and address students' doubts instantly. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. The course curriculum for B.Com (Hons) is very relevant and engages students, encouraging them to gain as much knowledge as possible. The semester exams are not very difficult; an average student can score up to 6 CGPA, while a good student can achieve 8-9 CGPA, but one needs to be diligent, especially in the B.Com (Hons) course.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because it is very beneficial for future career prospects. The best part of this course is that it's not purely theoretical; it includes practical elements that make it easier for students to understand. The events in our college are average, and the campus crowd can be quite large at times. The societies at Shyam Lal College are very active in their respective fields and perform well, providing opportunities for participation. You will love it!

Placements: The placement facility at this college is very poor. The highest package for a B.Com student is ₹30,000 per month, and the percentage of students who got internships is only 10%. This college increases the fees year by year; I paid ₹20,500 in the first year, ₹22,500 in the second year, and ₹24,500 in the third year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for courses is good because many teachers who teach in SRCC-like colleges have migrated to our college, Shyam Lal. I gave 3 stars for the course, but there is no hostel in this college for students, so I gave 0 for hostel facilities. The department of courses needs to improve.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, with good knowledge. Their communication skills with students are also very good. The semester exams at this college are very difficult because they check our mark sheets very carefully.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in large companies. Events and fests are held every 2-3 months, and the campus surroundings are very pleasant, with plenty of trees and plants.

Shyam Lal College: A Delhi University college.
Placements: There are 58 students in my section and I guess around 2000 students are enrolled in this course. I don't know about the packages, but the average is 2,50,000. The average package for B.Com. Hons. is around 4LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good and impressive. The labs, classrooms and library are nice. The food offered in the canteen is decent and affordable, the prices are reasonable. There is a hockey ground, cricket net, volleyball arena and a big ground available for sports.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. They are very helpful and are available whenever we want to solve our queries. The exams are arranged nicely and seating arrangements are good. It can be upgraded a little bit though. The semester exams are not that difficult if you are an average student.

It needs to work on several things.
Placements: Probably the second the worst thing about this college is its bad placement. Inactive placement cell, no internships or guidance provided. Nobody cares about the placement here, including the students and the staff. The staff is nice but only for the fun part; nobody is serious about the career part here.
Infrastructure: Fans in the classrooms have not been repaired/changed in a long time. The labs and library are really good and air-conditioned. Sports have a lot of politics going on, which makes it hard to participate at times. Wi-Fi is available and works fine.
Faculty: The teachers are quite friendly with everyone and knowledgeable. The difficulty of semester exams is average; it depends on how you study. Passing percentage is 33 percent, similar to what it is in schools. People pass without much issue.

No, with this percentage, you are not eligible for the Shyam lal College. Your Percentage is very low. Minimum 75% marks is required. You can go for other colleges.

There is an entrance examination for BBA, so you have to clear the exam and for B.Com. There is cutoff list procedure, so yes you are eligible for both just check out the cutoff list or previous year.
