B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2026
5.0
Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements with an active campus at SIT.
Placements: In my batch around 75-85 percent of students from our course got placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 18 LPA-20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA-4 LPA, and the average package is nearly 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Accenture, TATA Elxi. Around 50-60 percent of students got internships in companies. Roles offered are GET, Software engineer, and Electrical Design Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at SIT is good with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, seminar halls, and a central library with a large collection of academic books and digital sources. The hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms. The mess and canteen provide hygienic food that is vegetarian. Medical facilities, sports grounds, and gym games are also available.
Faculty: The faculty at SIT are experienced, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and includes both theoretical and practical subjects that help students gain industry - oriented knowledge. Most teachers explain concepts clearly with practical examples, conduct lab sessions effectively, and guide students in project internships.
Other: I completed my course at SIT and the college provides good value for money because of its quality education, experienced faculty, placements, and campus facilities.

I am happy with the learning experience in this college and found it interesting and engaging.
Placements: Above 50% of students are placed, while some opt for higher studies. The salary packages range from 3 LPA to 31 LPA. Companies like Alstom, TE Connectivity, Netradine, Infosys, and TMEIC recruit students. All students get internships in various companies as trainees. Internship opportunities are also available at ISRO, KPTCL, BESCOM, TMEIC, TE Connectivity, Netradine, Arcadis, Fayat, and many more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are nice with good connectivity. Classrooms are spacious with proper lighting. Medical facilities are also good. The staff members are friendly and supportive.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach very well with interesting topics along with academics and guide students whenever needed. Their teaching builds curiosity and interest in development. Semester exams are normal.
Other: This course offers a more practical-oriented approach. I am especially interested in power systems and electronics rather than coding. It focuses more on electrical-related technologies and current industry trends.

Good facilities, supportive faculty, and vibrant campus.
Placements: 78 percent students got placed. The highest package is 28 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. It is a good college with a good placement officer who takes care of each individual, which is why we are facing placement issues. The top roles offered are design engineer and associate engineer, and all students have secured internships.
Infrastructure: Our department has modern classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and a resourceful library. Hostels are clean with good amenities. The mess and canteen serve hygienic food. Medical care is available, and sports facilities encourage active participation. I am happy with the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, making learning engaging. The curriculum is well-structured, relevant, and industry-oriented, preparing students for careers. Semester exams are moderately challenging with good guidance, and the pass percentage remains consistently high.
Other: I chose Electrical & Electronics Engineering for its wide scope in power and technology. The course blends theory with practice making it exciting. More industry exposure can improve it. The campus offers vibrant fests, scholarships, clubs, good surroundings, connectivity and an energetic crowd.

Placements for core, we need core internship and vision design instead of coding.
Placements: 78% of students got placed. The highest package is 28 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and it's a good college with a good placement officer who takes care of why we are facing problems in placements. The top roles offered are design engineer and associate engineer, and all got the internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and everything is according to your studies, related, and the hostel for girls is not far, and they won't provide the afternoon Tiffin box, we have to go and receive it, then we have amenities where girls can sit and study, get ready, and we can study and enjoy.
Faculty: All lectures help to study, and they take an extra class in the name of a study hour. They clear your doubts. The only thing is we have to be practical and strong in electrical, so that we can understand both theories and practical lectures, labs are too good and you can study better.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in electrical design.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: Placements for EEE at SIT are good. Core companies such as Alstom, Texas Instruments, TE Connectivity, and others recruit students. However, most offers come from IT firms, including TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and others. The average package is around 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Placement training is good. 75% of students in our branch receive offers. The highest package in our branch is 27 LPA, Texas Instruments.
Infrastructure: SIT College has a well-maintained campus with modern labs, smart classrooms, and a good library. Hostels are clean and secure, with Wi-Fi and mess facilities. Medical facilities are also good and available at our college.
Faculty: All faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum is regularly updated to match industry needs, with a good mix of theory and practicals. Exams are held on time and are moderately tough, encouraging consistent study. Internal tests help with preparation. The EEE course is industry-relevant, with helpful faculty members.

Other: I am pursuing B.E. in electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) at SIT, Tumakuru. I am part of the 2021-2025 batch. The course offers a solid foundation in electrical systems along with hands-on lab sessions and project work.

IT placements are good compared to other colleges in Bengaluru.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our department. The highest package is 26 LPA, offered by Texas Instruments. The lowest is 3.6 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Everyone gets an internship, either through the placement cell or the department. Companies visiting this year include Texas Instruments, Schneider Electric, Applied Materials, TE Connectivity, Bharat Electronics, Godrej, Aptiv, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the course is well designed. Fast Wi-Fi is provided, and the library is good for course-related books. The hostel is a bit mediocre, from what I hear from my friends. People from the North find it difficult to adjust to the South Indian meals served in the hostels. I don't have much of an idea about the hostels personally.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but it depends on your interest in the course. The subjects are a bit difficult and require more study. There are challenging subjects like AEC, ECA, EM-2, and Electromagnetics. These subjects need deep study, or else you may fail.

The college is ideal for growth. The college has good infrastructure, teaching, and placements.
Placements: Our college has maintained a good placement record. Around 70-80% of students from my batch were placed. The top recruiters included Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Some also got placed in core companies and startups. The average package offered was around 3.5-4 LPA, while the highest was around 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is well-maintained with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, smartboards, fully equipped computer labs, and a large library with enough reference materials. The hostel facilities are decent-rooms are clean and spacious. The mess food is average but hygienic.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. They are approachable and helpful, especially during lab work and project support. The curriculum is quite industry-oriented and includes mini-projects, coding practices, and internship requirements.
