The campus is friendly, with supportive faculty, good placements, but it needs better infrastructure

Placements: The placements in the college are very less, and this is the only disappointment for students. The placements should be increased. The highest package offered in the college is 46 LPA, and the lowest package offered in the campus placements is 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering is excellent. They provide a good library and gallery to the students, with free Wi-Fi facilities. They also provide AC in the computer labs. The college makes the students feel more comfortable everywhere.

Faculty: The faculty is very friendly in nature, and they help students in every situation and make them feel more comfortable. They provide the best teaching practice to students, and also provide them with good books. They help students clear all subject doubts and prepare for semester exams.

The infrastructure & placements are, of course, the main aspects when joining a college.

Placements: Quite a few, but still many have not been placed. Accenture visited our college, which is great, and many of my friends got placed there. Many people are yet to be placed, but I have a strong feeling that the knowledge the college gave me will do the rest. The highest package is 24 LPA. A student got placed in Walmart.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite pleasant, and the labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are perfect for a student to learn and conduct experiments. The food in the hostel is good too, as there are one or two days when the food can't satisfy us, but apart from those days, I can say the food is good.

Faculty: The faculty is quite good at teaching and supporting students when they need help. The semester exams are quite tough, but having the knowledge will enable you to write them without feeling the toughness of it. So we didn’t find it difficult; we took it as a challenge and won the challenges every time.

Other: The course I chose made me more interested in it, and I can think differently and logically through it.

Pros and Cons of College in the Present Day

Placements: 70 percent of the students are in Computer and Science Engineering. The highest - 23 LPA and the lowest - 3.6 LPA are the recent related LPA packages for our college. TCS and Accenture are the best companies that recruit most of the students from our college.

Infrastructure: In our college, each classroom has one projector, and we also have technical labs and a library with journals and resources of the books that we need. The quality of the hostel, food, canteen, medical, sports, and games are just average. They need to improve.

Faculty: Not all, but some of the teachers and their teaching are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. It also makes the students industry-ready. The subjects in the semester are not all difficult, but some of them are difficult, and the pass percentage is 60.

Satisfied and happy to study in this college.

Placements: In my college, 45% of students from the Computer Science and Engineering branch get placed. The highest package stands at 6.5 Lacs per annum, while the lowest is 2.5 Lacs per annum, with an average package of 3.5 Lacs per annum. Top companies such as Wipro and Accenture visit our campus, and most students secure internships.

Infrastructure: We have facilities such as labs, a library, e-classrooms, a gymnasium, a canteen, and a book store in the college, but we lack free Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are excellent, featuring separate accommodations for both girls and boys. We offer a varied food schedule, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Our college provides numerous sports activities like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and kabaddi. CRR Engineering college students recently achieved the top position in the state for cricket, badminton, and volleyball.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and we are free to ask any doubts to the faculty. All the faculty are highly qualified; all the teaching staff completed their M.Tech, and some of them completed their Ph.D. The course curriculum is relevant most of the time. The semester exams are tough. Regarding the pass percentage, my branch has the highest pass percentage on campus at 71%.

Other: I chose the Computer Science and Engineering branch because it offers abundant job opportunities in the IT sector. We have more events and fewer fests in our college. My campus is very neat, clean, and full of greenery. We receive scholarships through the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Those who have a white ration card and obtain a rank in EAMCET will receive full reimbursement.

Better to join this college. I would suggest this college.

Placements: 50% percent of students got placed in this college last year. The highest package in this college is 23 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average is 4 or 5 LPA. Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, System Engineer, Software Developer, and Associate Engineer roles are offered in CSE.

Infrastructure: In college, labs are excellent with AC and new laptops in great working condition. There are also many Wi-Fi connections. Every department has one library, and the college has one central library in which we can find almost any type of book. The hostel is now updated; they have applied sealings in the hostel rooms. The food is not bad, meaning above average in the mess, and canteen food is good with all items. The hostel has medical facilities at any time. They encourage sports very well and have a large ground in college.

Faculty: Teaching quality is better; many teachers have much knowledge. The college has qualified teachers and is very helpful. Yes, courses are very helpful in industry trends. Yes, semester exams are difficult, but if you are average or merit, they are not difficult for them. The pass percentage is 70%.

Other: They conduct fests and extracurricular activities very well.
