Overall, it's a good college for B.Arch.
Placements: Top companies like Gaursons India, Shilpa Architects, DLF, RSP Architects Limited, etc., visited the college. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. It was for the role of design architect. Roles such as assistant professor, project manager, architectural designer, landscape architect, urban planner, etc., were offered to students. Summer internships were also offered to students in construction designing.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are quite good and spacious. The mess food is also very good. Other facilities that are offered to students are laundry, water supply, electricity, internet connection, parking lot, stationery shop, etc.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are very helpful and supportive when it comes to doubt solving. They provide us with an artistic and rational bent of mind, along with problem-solving abilities, so that we flourish in the construction sector. Guest lecturers conduct seminars on subjects like architectural design studio, interior space programming, structural analysis, etc. They give us a visual representation of the estimation and cost specifications. B.Arch is a 5-year course divided into 10 semesters. The disciplines of architecture are interior design, construction management, transport planning, landscape design, rural and urban planning, architecture theory, etc. The course provides a blend of practical and theoretical knowledge so that students can learn the art of designing, planning, mapping, and constructing various kinds of physical features.
Other: Arcus is one of the most exciting events that take place in college. All students have to participate in the competitions. Competitions vary from different sports activities, including football, cricket, table tennis, badminton, and many more, to academic-related competitions.

Campus life is good, and it is in the lap of nature.
Placements: Placements are not directly provided by the college. One needs to find out by oneself, and getting hired is depends on the quality of the portfolio you make in the period of 5 years. At the start, one gets a salary of Rs. 2,000 per month. A top role offered is a junior architect.
Infrastructure: Our college provides quite spacious classrooms. It is surrounded by lush green nature. It has British architecture. One will love the cool atmosphere of the campus. There is a playground for annual activities, etc. The quality of food served in the canteen is not up to the mark. Recently, it has painted canteen, and it totally looks new.
Faculty: Teachers and seniors are extremely helpful. They are always by your side whenever needed. The knowledge given by professors here is valuable. The course curriculum needs a few changes to make students industry-ready. Semester exams cover the syllabus well, and there is a good pass percentage.

Even the best facilities are provided for sports. Occasionally every year, many games are organised for students. Our college is the best.
Faculty: Our college had the best teachers. They were very helpful, more qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also the best. I am very happy with the studies in this college. They taught us in a very polite manner. It was a good decision to study at this college as it is the best.

A very good college, and it is great for aspiring architects.
Placements: There are no placements in architecture colleges, and it applies for JJ as well. But the professors allow students to work with them or help with internships and placements since you have to look for a firm. Architecture colleges do not provide placements usually, but students do get jobs, especially a student from JJ.
Infrastructure: It's a 100-years old college hence the infrastructure is very old, but it is very good. The classrooms are airy and have nice fittings for architects. There is no Wi-Fi facility, and the washrooms are clean. We have a ground to play games, and there is an amazing auditorium. All in all, the infrastructure is great for architects.
Faculty: The faculty members are very experienced and one of the best in India. The teachers themselves have their own firms and have a lot of field-related experience. The projects given are very practical based and help a lot in learning and gaining the right knowledge related to the field.

Sir J. J. College of Architecture
Placements: We have placements for our internship, unlike any other college in our course. Around 60-70% students get placed with the stipend of minimum Rs. 5,000. The maximum stipend can go up to around Rs. 15,000. Around 20 companies came in to participate. This year will be the first year for placements of graduate students.
Infrastructure: We have a material testing lab. A fully functioning computer lab with LAN connection. We do not have a hostel on the campus. We have a sports room and a sports council which conduct a sports fest. Wi-Fi can be provided in college and there is a scope. We would also like a plotter to get our everyday prints from.
Faculty: We have experienced faculty and visiting faculty which are excellent in their respective fields. They are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching methods can be improved on. 1:12 is the teacher-student ratio in almost all studio lectures. The course curriculum is useful and enjoyable. We use methods like ppt presentations for most of our lectures.
Other: Our college has an excellent campus with a lot of creative energy. It is a heritage structure. The campus is a 150-year-old campus with three art faculties functioning side by side. We have annual cultural and sports fest. We conduct around 20-30 seminars in one academic year.

Other: Most recognized Architecture College in Mumbai. Faculty and infrastructure both are good. Infrastructure needs a little improvement. The quality of crowd is not that good. This college does not encourage sports and other curriculum activities and always just emphasizes on academics and submissions.
