A good college provides not just academic knowledge but also supports physical and personal growth.
Placements: In our 2021–25 BE Computer Science batch, 75% of students got placed. The highest package is 7.2 LPA, the lowest 2.4 LPA, and the average 3.6 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Around 60% secured internships in roles like Junior data analyst and developer.
Infrastructure: Colleges provide a cool and peaceful library environment where students can focus on their studies. The library usually includes a wide collection of academic books, magazines, and online resources, becoming a hub for self-learning and exam preparation.
Faculty: Most colleges have almost the same courses because they follow the syllabus set by their affiliating university. This ensures that students across different colleges receive a uniform and standardized education. The content may be the same, but the way it is taught can differ.
Other: Sports activities are conducted every year and are an essential part of college life. They help students stay active, healthy, and mentally refreshed. Sports also build discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills among students.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placement cell of this college is very active in bringing each company on board so that students can have their dream packages in their dream companies. The average package of this college is 5.12 LPA. Companies like Dabur, TCS, Wipro, and Infotech come to hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is small but pretty decent. Group projects teach collaboration, leadership, and compromises, requiring students to communicate. The food quality is just okay and sports are also being conducted. College is supporting the students too.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated and very supportive. You can reach out to them anytime. Of course, the course curriculum is relevant to the industry requirements. They encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities.
Other: The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The infrastructure of this college is small but pretty decent. Group projects teach collaboration, leadership, and compromises, requiring students to communicate.

Good faculty, poor placement in 2025, average infrastructure, well-equipped labs, and library.
Placements: In computer branch (including CS, IOT, AIML), only top 3 to 4% students got placement from college in 2025. Package students got, highest and lowest on average, will be 2.5-3.5 LPA. Companies like Galaxy, Capgemini, and other 2 to 3 came. No one got an internship in my course and branch at any company. Top role offered, particularly in my course, was none. Because no one got placed in my class.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries have Wi-Fi and are well-equipped, but no AC. Classroom are also good, but there is no Wi-Fi or AC in classroom. Cameras are everywhere on whole campus. There is no hostel facility in college. There is a canteen, and it's average. You can get all snacks, fast foods, and lunch.
Faculty: Teachers are good, qualified. Overall, they have average knowledge, only a few of them have great knowledge. Only 10 to 20% course curriculum is relevant, and rest is useless when it comes to industry-level and expectations. Exams are like normal exams, and teachers support and help in studies for exams. So it's overall good. Pass percentage is also 95 to 98%.
Other: I took admission in 2021, when IT industry was at its peak, so I preferred this course. But after 4 years, industry is in a worse condition as far as I know till now, i.e, 2025. To improve my course, important thing is curriculum structure, curriculum should be redesigned, removing theoretical knowledge and adding some practical and coding. Current curriculum is nothing like today's industry demands. Events, Fest, and hackathons are organized, and government scholarships are also applicable in college. The only thing is that college doesn't give much funding to students, they have to go for cheap.

It is one of the good colleges in Mumbai.
Placements: About 60%-70% of students from the computer department get placed through on-campus drives. The top salary package is 15 LPA, while the average is around 4-5 LPA. Popular companies that recruit from the department include Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and Godrej. Most qualified students secure internships in different companies, with roles such as software engineer and data analyst being common.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well and good with the library having a Wi-Fi system. We have a canteen with a variety of dishes and labs with new equipment. Some classes with smart board system. The computer department labs with AC system and the latest computers. All classrooms are under camera Surveillance.
Faculty: All teachers are well educated and well qualified. Most of them have written books, and articles and researched various topics. The course outcome is explained earlier and reached based on industry preparation only and with the aim of the course.

Overall, the college is good, and fests and all other events are celebrated very well.
Placements: This college has now started placement training from the second year. They started sharing internship opportunities as per companies' requirements, so that students can apply accordingly and gain internships. I think placements and packages will grow further.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, with a triangle-shaped building that has 3 to 4 classrooms on each floor and 1-2 labs on each floor. The building has 7 floors. On the ground floor, there are mechanical and workshop labs, and there is also a workshop lab on the 6th floor. The college has a large playground where students can play sports.
Faculty: Teachers at this college are quite qualified and knowledgeable, with both personal and professional experience. The faculty members are very helpful, and the HOD also coordinates properly and gives good responses. The college is affiliated with Mumbai University.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested and curious to know about cybersecurity and blockchain technology.

Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (not a great choice for your engineering degree).
Placements: Placements are somewhat good, but the college did not provide training or placement preparation, and there were no updates on any industrial visits. Now that the college has become autonomous.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is mid. The classrooms for second, third, or fourth year are also mid. The cleaning staff also have an attitude of sorts. The staff on our floor once said, "Sit in this garbage environment," because the boys of our class had kept the benches out of place. Also, I've seen only the first-year cleaning staff doing their duties on time. Overall, very mid.
Faculty: Faculty is, I'd say, good. The curriculum is good. One thing I'd say is they don't make you industry-ready. Theory isn't the only thing that will make you industry-ready. The teachers don't make you aware of the industrial environment, and no practical advice is shared at all.
Other: Curriculum doesn't really focus on practical learning; most of the practical labs are just brushed off, and I don’t know, but nobody seems to take labs seriously, not even the faculty.
