Mesmerized by the campus, disappointed by the faculty members.
Placements: No placement was given to previous students and there will be no placement for this year's students because there is no placement cell for B.Sc. students. Placements are only for masters students which is also very difficult to get and most of the time they don't get it.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-ventilated. There are smart classes with Wi-Fi. The library has 98% of books that are recommended by the professors. The food in the mess is very good. They have a good variety of food. The canteen is expensive. There is a medical facility which is average.
Faculty: Not all teachers are good. They are extremely qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready to some extent. Exams are medium as per me. The passing marks is more than 70%.
Other: I love medical biology and microorganisms and this course lets me study these aspects. This course lets you study a variety of things that you use in your daily life and can change your perspective of your surrounding things. The changes I would like in this course are the hectic schedule and not enough breaks. In a year only one event is conducted from the biotechnology department, but there are many fests from different departments.

In our college biotechnology department and other departments have good opportunities.
Placements: I am in the first year so research is going on for future what specific field I can choose for my future coarse and my master's degree. I like the environment out there. Faculty members help us to upgrade our knowledge and give us information on the latest experiment and inventions going. In what field will biotechnology help and many more.
Infrastructure: I don't stay at the hostel. But the food served in the canteen is good. There are extracurricular activities such as different events, fest, programs, blood donation camps, and many more. Each department in the college has its fest and students are invited. Different days are also celebrated so that we can enjoy them. Many sports are also organised involving different sports like football, cricket, volleyball and more.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. If helps us for the industrial area, and the private sector also gives us motivation. Faculty members try their best to help us so that we can understand the portion. They are friendly and strict as well. They are always available for solving our doubts whenever needed.
Other: The biotechnology department has its fest and other programs.

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure of the department.
Placements: There were no placements in our department. There were no companies visited to hire the students. The highest salary offered for B.Sc. students was somewhat around Rs.15,000-20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 5,000 per month. The job scenario in our field was the worst. There was no student prepared for jobs. The placements needed for students to work after B.Sc.
Infrastructure: There are hardly classrooms allotted specifically for our biotech students. There are very clumsy labs, and there is no proper environment in our college. There is a shortage of every glassware and equipment. There are unnecessary things occupied in the lab. There is no Wi-Fi facility. There are no air-conditioners. There are no good facilities in the college, and there is no space for teachers to sit.
Faculty: Teachers here were helpful and friendly. Non-teaching to teaching staff members were approachable. We can find them anytime in the lab. Faculty members were thorough in their subject as well in other subjects. Faculty members were experts in all the theory and lab works.
Other: The things I wish to improve in the course is the syllabus. The syllabus is very ambiguous and doesn't lead to anything. It should be in a stepwise manner and should allow students to study its area of interest in-depth, which helps students not forced to learn the unnecessary things in the syllabus. The syllabus should be future-oriented to include new technologies. It should be more job-oriented and general knowledge-oriented thing.
