Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.
Placements:
There is no placement in this college. Students from IT background are not given any placement which is affecting the students. No placements and internships are provided. It is a bad college.
Infrastructure: There is always shortage of books in the library. Librarian doesn’t have manners to talk. For getting railway concession, we have to stand in long queues but they are too rude. Our department should understand us. Just making the infra bigger is not enough.
Faculty: Faculty is not good and they provide only bookish knowledge. No extra part is taught to us. They should improve the teaching process. Students should be treated equally. Just cultural fests are not enough. A lame college with no placement. Only maintaining attendance won’t make students learn new concepts.

Review of K. J Somaiya College of Science - Great campus life and nice placements
Placements: Maximum number of students were placed in good IT companies, the average package was of 3-4lac, top recruiting companies for the course were Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Cognizant etc., not sure about the internship opportunities, we get to participate in many events.
Infrastructure: The college campus is really wonderful, all the infrastructure are of great help for the students. Starting from classrooms, canteens, washrooms everything is there for the convenience of the students. The computer labs are enough for every students with all the operating systems.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, they also help us prepare for the company interviews rather than just sharing the information about the academics. Whenever we go asking any doubts, they are eager to solve them and share all the knowledge they have.
Other: IT is an evergreen course. Since the invasion of technology, everything is technology based, so this course is best. We get to learn many operating systems and programming languages. Many cultural, sports events are held in the campus annually.

I am satisfied with the teaching.
Placements: Almost 7-9 students from our batch got placed from the campus selection. Almost 10% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Roles offered here were mainly support or tester. Most of the students got placed in the support team only.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided here are good. Teachers and staff members are good. Labs are clean and well maintained. Hostel service is also there for an outsider. The canteen and the mess are too good, and they serve excellent food. Sports is also the best as the college has one of the biggest campuses of Mumbai.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, and also they are qualified greatly. They have great knowledge of the field. The teaching quality is excellent. Even the course curriculum is also relevant. It does make the student ready for the industry and the future.

Supportive Faculty and Good Internship opportunities.
Placements: More than 50% of the students were placed. The recruiting company was Infosys, LTI, Zensartechnologies, TCS. Roles offered mostly were of the associate trainee, junior software tester, junior developer. The highest salary was of infosys that is 20k. The highest package was of 2lakhs 40 thousand.
Infrastructure: There are three labs. No Wi-Fi facility was available for us. Classrooms are big. Can't tell about the hostel as I wasn't enrolled with it. There are three canteens and each of them is very good mostly the engineering ones. A Dedicated doctor is always present in the campus area in case of an emergency. The college has the finest sports and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and qualified. Quality of teaching is good can be improved if the staff are ready to learn more about current technologies and the college also supports the same. The course is obviously relevant. Yes, the course is industry ready to some level. As the college is autonomous now they have been changing the syllabus as per as the industry.

Placements: Mostly 55 percent students are allowed in placement test, Good company have coming in campus like Wipro, tech Mahindra, tcs etc., Placement basis of test and interview, Extra placement also provided from contacted with company, teacher is also supported for campus placement interview and test.
Infrastructure: Classroom is good condition and college campus is also good, Practical accupement iss the latest technology, Hostel room is good and comfortable. Canteen is available and provided good and healthy food, Games activity is good and teaching, Wi-Fi also provided for helping of study.
Faculty: Faculty is good and well qualified and good knowledge
Teaching methods is very nice
Mostly course is provided and supporting students. Exam time provide extra class also for good and well study, Well study material provided, Good knowledge of industry, .
Other: Event organisation is good, Extracurricular activities also provided, scholarship is given also.
