To get an admission at SCTIMST Trivandrum for MPH, aspirants must start by checking that they fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria specified by the institute. Eligible candidates must visit the institute's official website to apply. Applicants are required to appear for the Entrance Examination and Personal Interview, both of which are conducted by the institute. Yes, SCTIMST Trivandrum follows the seat reservation policy as per the norms of the Government of India. In each course offered at the institute, some seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PWD categories. The number of seats reserved for these categories may vary over the years as some reserved seats are rotated over two consectuive years among the course specialisations offered at the institute. If the reserved seats are found vacant, they are allotted eligible unreserved (UR) category candidates.

Teachers and quality of teaching is very good.
Placements: To say the truth, placement isn't the strongest part here. There is no big placement cell or anything, but some students got into public health projects, research work, or NGOs if you are planning to go for higher studies or government sector jobs. Most of the students got internships at this college.
Infrastructure: The college is simple and it is maintained well. Classrooms are clean, and there is a decent library with enough material. Labs are functional. Wi-Fi works in the entire campus and the campus is peaceful. Sports and canteen facilities are also available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is experienced and supportive. Some are strict, but they care about teaching. Over time, I realized that they are actually approachable if you show some interest. Course curriculum focuses a lot on practical knowledge and real-world public health issues. Semester exams in the college are easy to pass.

Q:   Can I get admission to SCTIMST, Trivandrum with 60% in Class 12th?
A: 

Unfortunately a 60% in class 12 will not get you into SCTIMST in Trivandrum. An MBBS degree or an equivalent degree from a reputable college is the minimal educational requirement for admission to the DM Fellowship program. Additionally, a one-year mandatory rotatory internship at a reputable medical college is required.

You need to have earned at least 55% of your MBBS degree in order to be eligible for the INI-SS exam. fortunately the number of applicants and seat availability may affect the cut-off marks for admission to SCTIMST each year.
