at SJCE Mysore, Mysore

There are a total of nine theory and practical subjects taught in the third semester of SJCE Mysore BE course. Since, the college has sudents coming from different backgrounds, hence, the medium of teaching is English. The course titles are as follows:

• Environmental Studies
• Digital System Design
• Fourier Series, Integral Transforms, and Applications
• Theory of Computation
• Discrete Mathematical Structure and Combinations
• Data Structures
• Object Oriented Programming using JAVA
• Data Structure Lab
• Digital System Design Lab

For admission to a BE course at SJCE Mysore, aspirants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The selection further can be done based on the applicant's score in the KCET/COMEDK UGET exam. The seat allotment procedure is carried out mainly by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). For seat allotment, the cutoff list is released and candidates with a score equal to or better than the cutoff rank are granted admission. These students further have to report at the college for document verification and fee payment to confirm their seat.

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering offers four-year BE programme divided into eight semesters. Candidates need to pass PUC or Class 12 in relevant subjects to apply for BE. Below are some of the BE specialisations offered at SJCE:

• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Environmental Engineering, etc.

SJCE Mysore offers programmes at UG, PG and doctoral levels in the Engineering, Management and Science streams. The courses include BE, MBA, MTech, MCA, etc. Aspirants need to pass a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. The selection to all the courses is entrance-based. 

SJCE Mysore offers admission based on the scores/rank obtained in COMEDK, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female. The cutoff for a branch change at SJCE Mysore depends upon factors, such as number of seats vacant, total number of students who got year back and seats got empty, and option entry done by other people having better CGPA.
