The consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducts three rounds of COMEDK UGET counselling for admission to the BE/ BTech courses. The Round 1 of the Seat Allotment is out for different categories, including General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD. COMEDK Round 1 cutoff is being held for both general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However, round 2 will be conducted for Hyderabad Karnataka region students only. CMR Institute of Technology admission, to all the programmes offered at the campus, is entrance exam-based. CMRIT admission to the flagship BTech course is provided on the basis of KCET scores and for MTech, candidates need to appear in GATE/ PGCET. Similarly, for MBA admissions, aspirants need to appear for CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ PGCET/ KMAT exams.
