There is mess with two halls for boys and 1 hall for girls and operates from 7:30 am in morning till 8:30 in night. Maintenance facility is also provided with A1 staff members. Rooms are clean and bathroom are cleaned regularly. Food is good quality and have prescribed elements.

Placements: Everything is good, and everyone likes to join because we can gain knowledge and experience to work in jobs. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Soliton, and some dream companies are also present. From the 2nd year onwards, we can go for internships and gain some knowledge.

Infrastructure: Extraordinary sports performance in zonal and inter-college events, free Wi-Fi provided in classes and hostels. Medical facilities also present in our college, and all labs with good machines, circuits, and computers. The college gives importance to players.

Faculty: Exams are good with extraordinary questions that help to gain knowledge. Semester exams are conducted once every 3 months. Teachers teach well and solve tough problems to help with our education, knowledge gain, and GATE preparation.

SKCET - Placements review for CSE

Placements: Still, only 60% of students have been placed in our department. But from the month of August, many companies with a package of 4.5 lakh are coming to the college. And also, Accenture is a high recruiter where most of the students have been placed. And the highest package in our department is 25 LPA.

Infrastructure: The library is very large, which is open till 6:30 p.m. The medical facilities for the hostellers are the worst. Because the hostel authorities will take us to the particular hospital every time, and they will make us pay 500. And we cannot visit the hospital at any time .

Faculty: Apart from the college subject, we have to learn a lot from outside the college. And we can get the help from our alumni. And the college will only insist on coding, and we have a lot of coding contests in college through some of the portals like Neo, FacePrep, e-Box.

It is a good choice for mechatronics with strong placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students in our course get placed every year. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the average ranges from 4-5 LPA. The lowest package ranges between 2.5-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Bosch, TCS, Infosys, Zoho, L&T, and Cognizant. Nearly 50-60% of students also get internship opportunities in companies like Ashok Leyland, TVS, and various startups. Core roles like design engineer, embedded systems developer, and automation engineer are offered, along with software development roles in some cases.

Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern labs for robotics, automation, electronics, and mechanical systems. Classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi enabled. The central library has a good collection of technical books and journals. Hostels are well-maintained with decent rooms, 24x7 water and electricity supply. The mess food is hygienic and offers both veg and non-veg options, though it can be repetitive. Medical facilities are available on campus. There is a large ground for sports like cricket, football, and athletics, along with indoor game facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, approachable, and supportive. Most of them have strong academic backgrounds and industry exposure. The course curriculum is quite relevant and includes recent advancements in AI, IoT, and automation. It prepares students for industry roles, especially in core fields. Exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is generally above 85%, but consistent study is needed to maintain a good CGPA. Practical learning and projects are emphasised from the second year.

Other: I chose mechatronics because it is an interdisciplinary field that combines mechanical, electronics, and programming skills. It is perfect for the automation and robotics future. The best part is the hands-on learning and project-based approach. I wish there were more industry collaborations and updated lab equipment. Overall, the environment motivates us to grow both technically and personally.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 100% of students are getting placed. 44LPA is the highest package, and 6LPA is the lowest. Software designer, circuit controller, IT department, and coding positions are being offered in the software sector, and they are quite limited as well. Everyone is being placed.

Infrastructure: We have excellent infrastructure. For the first-year students, we provide a switch box facility to charge our laptops at our convenience, and the Wi-Fi is functioning well. Our library is the largest in any college in Asia. The hostel rooms are quite decent, and there are no issues with them. The only problem is the food.

Faculty: The faculty members are quite good, and everyone teaches well. Portals have been launched, which are very useful for students seeking placements, as every programming language is taught each semester by experts, and tasks have been assigned to be completed.

Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Tech ECE Review.

Placements: Some of the top recruiters are Presidio, Azentio, Nasdaq, Oracle, Mr. Cooper, and Trimble. Some of the bulk recruiters are TCS, Cognizant, and Accenture, which recruit around 150-200 students, offering an average package of 4-4.5 LPA. The highest package so far is 12 LPA in the ECE department.

Infrastructure: The college facilities, like classrooms, labs, and the library, are good. I recommend you not join the college hostel; the hostel facilities are not worth the money we are paying. Additionally, the hostel rules and warden are very strict. They impose many anonymous rules and often create problems with outpasses and play with ID cards for everything.

Faculty: Teachers and alumni are very helpful, especially for projects and hackathons. Hackathons are the best way to upskill yourself and learn to work in a pressured environment. There are many hackathon opportunities, like Smart India Hackathon, Kavach, and L&T Tech GM.

Other: There are no events, and sometimes college life can be boring.

SKCET Coimbatore Infrastructure

Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET Coimbatore) is supported in its pedagogy through an excellent faculty as well as an auditorium, boys hostel, sports complex, and Wi-Fi campus. Some of the facilities offered at SKCET Coimbatore are discussed below:

Library: The library consists of a 55,000 sq. ft. area of fully air-conditioned space. It comprises a wide collection of over 52,200 volumes of books, 32086 titles, and 1500 periodicals. Both students and faculty members can access the resources at the library.
Hostel: SKCET provides separate hostel facilities for both male and female students enrolled in the institute. The boys’ hostel can accommodate almost 1600 students whereas, the girls’ hostel can offer residential facilities to 850 students. The rooms are well-equipped with all the basic amenities to make a happy stay for the students.
Sports: The institute has world-class facilities to cater to the physical fitness of the students. It has well-planned playgrounds for every sport and activity.
Transport: The college provides bus service from prominent locations all over the city to the college. There are a total of 15 buses engaged in pick up and drop off of the students as well as faculty members.
