Infrastructure at SKCET.
Placements: The best departments for placements at SKCET are CSE and IT. Most companies that visit the campus are IT-based, such as Accenture, CTS, Wipro, Mr Cooper, Amazon, ZOHO, and Excelacom. Even though most placements are in IT services, core students can also attend these IT company interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent. The classrooms were modern and had smart boards. The library was one of the largest and had a vast collection of books. This made it easy to find resources for project work or research. The canteen offered good food with decent options.
Faculty: The professors at SKCET are friendly and approachable, especially those in IT and CSE. They are always willing to help students with doubts and project work. The management is supportive, and if you have any issues, you can always email the chairperson. We get a lot of encouragement for academic activities like hackathons, research, and even patent filing.

Placements and opportunities in SKCET.
Placements: The top companies recruiting from our college include Amazon, Accenture, Cisco, Zoho, JP Morgan, Mr. Cooper, KLA, and Azentio. The top package in our batch is between 20 to 25 LPA from Cisco, JP Morgan, Acko, and KLA. The average package varies from 4 to 10 LPA, and almost 60% of the students got placed this year. We can still attend companies until next April. The roles offered include software developer, data analyst, frontend developer, full stack developer, and backend developer.
Infrastructure: We have a huge library with many informative books, and a digital library is also present. We are provided with unlimited Wi-Fi, and laptops are available. New labs are being renovated, which helps improve our practical knowledge. Industrial training is provided for all departments, which is very helpful for placements. The hostel facility is good, but the fees are very high. Only vegetarian food is provided. The rules of the hostel are strict, and timing is very important; we have to be inside the hostel by 5:30 PM, and attendance is taken every evening.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but the real advantage is the industrial experts who provide us with a lot more knowledge. The teachers are always supportive of learning new technologies. The course and curriculum are mostly relevant, but we have to study some subjects like biology, physics, and chemistry, which are not relevant. Industrial training is given for Java, ReactJS, and C++, and we also built two web applications that made us industry-ready. The semester exams can be easily passed, and a high CGPA can be easily obtained, as only direct questions are asked.

Good placements and Infrastructure.
Placements: More than 90 percentage of the students are being placed every year in this college and for our department the placement percentage is over 95 percent. As per last year placements, we have a the highest salary package of 44 LPA from Amazon. Everyone is allowed to participate in internship right after 3rd year which helps us get industry experience.
Infrastructure: We have got the best labs libraries and classrooms. As for the library it is a very vast one that I have seen as far in Coimbatore. The library also includes a digital library with Wi-Fi facilities. One can browse over the internet in the library using the computers available here. The food quality in mess is pakka but the only problem is that the menu is repetitive every week or so. It does not change if there is not any special occasions.
Faculty: The faculty members here are good and are much knowledgeable and help us whenever needed. The teaching is through smart board which helps us in digital learning. The interactive session are amazing as well. Sometimes we get to attend workshop related to subject. We are getting industry ready by the industry Training provided by the college. In the industry training we get to learn from industry experts which help us gain more experience on hand.

It is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students get placed every year. SKCET is known for its placement percentage. The highest salary package offered was 25 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 3-5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies like Accenture, Zoho, TCS, Wipro, Amazon and Temenos visit our campus for placements. In our IT department, all students who opt for placements got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best things in SKCET. The environment in our college is very good. There are smart classrooms. The library is a major good thing in our college with a good collection of books. Labs are very good here. The hostel is good, and it serves good food. The campus, hostel and library are equipped with a Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified, and they easily connect with students. Other than teaching, they had a good rapport with the students. The course curriculum is of Anna University norms, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in our college are moderate. Faculty members are good.
Other: I have chosen B.Tech. in Information Technology course in 2016. I had the best faculty members in our course. There is nothing to improve. I had the best college life.

Our college is the best when it comes to infrastructure and also placements.
Placements: In our departments like CSE and IT, there is 100% placement. The highest package was 12-15 LPA and the lowest package was 3-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Zoho, Accenture, TCS, CTS. We have to search and get into an Internship. Software developer is the role offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. Our college maintains a good environment inside the campus. We had free Wi-Fi, our library is the best one in the Asian part. The labs were very clean and air conditioned. Our hostel is clean and they provide better food but only veg.
Faculty: Teachers were very good and they were ready to take up the class and doubts anytime. They provided enough material and also make us involved in all the activities. Since our college is autonomous. The course curriculum was reframed twice in a batch (I don't remember exactly the batch).

Review of SKCET - Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. About 150 companies visit our college every year for placements. Placements are categorised by conducting exams and through students communication skills. Our college also provides an internship. Practical knowledge is required.
Infrastructure: The library is very resourceful and large enough to gain knowledge. The infrastructure of the library is mind-blowing. Sports is the main role here. Food served in the canteen is good. Labs are good.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is very good. Rather than a manual one, their practical teaching is very good. Assignments and records are simple enough to understand and write. They are helpful to clear our doubts. They share ideas in an innovative manner.
Other: The environment on campus is the best, which makes our mind calm and relaxed. We can participate in extracurricular activities conducted by the college.

A good ROI giving college.
Placements: About 80% were placed in our batch. 5% opted for higher studies. The average package of 4LPA was offered. The lowest package in B.Tech IT is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiters are amazon, Accenture, tcs, cts, wipro, etc. Most of the companies recruits only CS IT students.
Infrastructure: The environment is very green and has a good infrastructure. Very cool climate, pleasant to roam around. Has fully equipped Wi-Fi campus, AC labs and library with a lots of collection. Hostel food will be average and not upto expectations. Hostel rooms are good suited inside the campus itself. Ramakrishna hospital is situated at the college's entrance itself for medical facilities. Food courts are also available in a larger area and has many shops to buy.
Faculty: It is very knowledgeable and is changed as per the needs of the industry. It is fully based on industry requirements. Teaching will be super good with young and industry based staffs. They will teach each and every piece of the syllabus and clear even silly doubts.
Other: Please do choose only if you are definitely going to attend placements and go for a good job. Else don't choose SKCET, since it is a very expensive college in terms of fees.

The college has good infrastructure but campus life is boring.
Placements: Mostly every student who is interested in placements will get placed except few because Sri Krishna is famous for its placements. Amazon offered the highest salary package of about 12 LPA, but it selects only 1-5 students from the college. The average salary offered will be of Rs. 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruitment is done by Amazon, Zoho, Wipro, Odessa, Accenture, TCS, Virtusa, etc. Roles offered will be of designer, developer, technical analyst, etc. The average salary package offered in our course is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Around 10% of the students have got an internship from Amazon, Internshala, and so on.
Infrastructure: Our college is a Wi-Fi zone, but in most of the places, we cannot get any Wi-Fi. You can get it in the library and some classrooms, not in all the classrooms. Labs are so good with air-conditioner, and the library is one of the biggest libraries of all colleges. Library even consists of a digital library where you can use systems with free internet. Classrooms are of smart classes with digital boards and notes will be sent through Google Classroom app. Infrastructure is overall very good, and one who enters into our college will definitely like it because of its climate. Girls hostel consists of 2 blocks, one for the first 2 years and another one for final and pre-final years. Block 1 has 6 cot rooms and 4 cot rooms, and block 2 has only 4 cot rooms. Boys hostel consists of 6 blocks with 4 cots each. Sports and games are encouraged, and the ground is near to our hostel for practice. Mess and canteen are average like every other hostel and snacks will be provided at evening. Sometimes, the food served will be good, and sometimes it will not be good.
Faculty: Teachers here are mostly PhD holders. Few of them are pursuing their PhD, and few are ME graduates. The teaching quality depends upon the teachers, and few teachers teach very well and will make the subject interesting. Few teachers read the content in the PPT and are not clear about what they explain. The course curriculum is up to date, and they even offer new technology courses for a short period with fees. Every student doesn't get ready for the industry with these courses. The course curriculum is of moderate level, but the question is that the industry will be of a higher level. Self-learning will make us do that.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to work in the IT industries as I am inspired by IT companies. The best thing about our course is that everyone will get placed in IT companies. Though other department students study their subject, they also get placed in IT companies. The college should provide more training for all the students from the beginning so that they can understand the topics from the first year. Students who are in the third year are learning basics which is more pathetic for most of the students since we learn it only to clear exams in the first year. Events which are conducted here are not popular among students. All festival celebrations are done here, but no one knows the place where they are happening, which is the most irritating thing. Everyone will not be invited to celebrations, only a few classes from a few departments are called. Many events are held daily, and only limited students know about it. Many industrialists give speeches here. TEDx, cultural day, activity day and motivational speeches are the events conducted in our college. The campus will always be more crowded during break times. Other than breaks, securities will be monitoring whether anyone is out of the class. Extracurricular activities are appreciated in our college, and an OD will be provided for taking part in it. Scholarships are provided for government quota students, and SBI account is necessary for that.
