Review of Sri Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: More than 60% of students were placed in many companies. The highest salary offered was Rs.30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies were CAD solutions and many more designing and construction companies. Top roles offered were supervisor, etc.

Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure and transportation were very good. Extracurricular activities and indoor and outdoor games were good. Hostel facilities were very neat. It serves hygienic food. The hostel provided an average Wi-Fi connection.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very interested to teach students and very helpful. Their teaching was good and helpful to core industries. Our college conducted semester-wise exams. The pass percentage was 60%. The teaching was very good.

Other: Our college provided very good coaching to students.

It is the worst college you can end up in.

Placements: The placements were the worst of its kind. Our senior batch students got placed in the extremely low-level companies. An average salary between Rs. 6000 per month to Rs. 8000 per month was given. There were close to no internship offers at all. Only, basic level roles are provided. There is indeed a placement cell, but regarding efficiency, they are a complete waste. The companies that visit our college are unheard.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Mobile phones/laptops/TV are prohibited. Labs are present for the sake of existence. The classrooms are also just for namesake, and there are no permanent classrooms. The library is the smallest of its kind. Medical facilities are not much good, and you would rather die. A barren land called the ground is present, and a namesake PET instructor is present. Moderate quality food is available in the canteen. Hostel rooms are the worst of its kind.

Faculty: There is a shortage of total faculty members. Most are them are poor in domain knowledge, they are zero or less experienced. Teaching methodology is similar to the school level. They have projectors for PPTs. The student-faculty ratio is 15:1 (because the total strength of the college is quite low). Don't even think of the industrial exposure.

Other: Campus crowd usually appears empty. The campus size is small, and it is situated in rural Tamil Nadu.

Its lucky to study in this college.

Placements: Its good experience to spend in shanmugha college, you will get placements if you study there and get good grades, studying engineering is better for your future many company will recruit you but you need a good attendance and good in studies also.

Infrastructure: The quality of food was good, but I am not similar with the foods in there because I am from another state, they will provide nice foods with masala and you will like such foods, there are sports and games too for those who like football, basketball etc.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful they will help for your exams, for me the exams was quite good, if you study hard you will pass without any supplies, the semester exam was not such difficult for me becuase I studied hard, teaching quality of teachers also good.

Other: I choose this case because it is the best option for future.
